This will be a busy weekend at the Lion and in Flagler Beach! Friday night is the inaugural Flagler Beach Relay for Life at the Wickline Center. The 14th Annual Flagler Sportfishing Club's Buckets Of Fun Tournament is Saturday morning! The Golden Lion will once again host the Captain's meeting & team sign up on Friday evening. Saturday Night is our nearly world famous Full Moon Luau Party! Live reggae from Zebbhi Niyah, our official Full Moon Punch "Lei-Monade", hula hoops, and limbo contests!!!

Welcome Bikers!

The big news this week is Bike Week 2010. What does that mean to Flagler Beach? Lots of motorcycles, obviously. It also means a carnival atmosphere all along A1A as spring erupts along with the din that is Bike Week. At the Golden Lion it means a whole week of great live music!

Not to be overshadowed by Bike Week is the nearly world famous Golden Lion Full Moon Party!! Come howl at the moon in Florida luau style Saturday night with live reggae from Zebbhi Niyah. Show up in a Hawaiian style shirt or a grass skirt and get a free cup of rum punch!

Exciting times coming up at the Golden Lion in the next few weeks, starting with this weekend. It's Super Bowl weekend! Great music this weekend finishing up with the Super Bowl on Sunday. We will keep the bar open until the game is finished so come get comfortable and watch on our new flat screen. We have a special Super Bowl menu available for our customers as well as some delicious Super Bowl platters to go. Check out our catering menu for more details.

Fall in love with Katherine Archer's “Educational, Toe-Tapping-Feel-Good Music with a Purpose” just as we did a few months ago when she filled in for Rob while he was playing with Jimmy Buffett's band.

Tonight's full moon will be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year. It offers anyone with clear skies an opportunity to identify easy-to-see features on the moon. As a bonus, Mars will be just to the left of the moon tonight. Look for the reddish, star-like object. Check out the view from our ocean deck while listening to some great tunes by Billy Bowers & Joe Atti. Saturday night we will host our nearly world-famous Full Moon Party! Time to dust off those grass skirts and limbo!

Rob Peck

Born in Gainesville, Florida, Rob's musical interest was piqued early on by legendary greats such as the Allman Brothers. Moving to Mobile, Alabama as a teenager, he extended his musical roots into the Delta blues clubs, where his mastery of the harp captured musical attention in the country arena, leading him into touring with George Jones, also performing with Bo Diddley, Sister Hazel and many more. Rob has appeared on over 40 cds, featuring his harmonica, acoustic, electric, and steel slide guitars, not to mention his writing and vocals.

We will be serving our regular menu for New Year's Eve in addition to these specials:
