What is a Custom Hybrid Golf Club?

Professional golfers are using a hybrid golf club. Golf magazines and other people who know the game well have shown enthusiasm about these clubs. Fundamentally speaking, when you put a fairway wood together with a long iron you will end up with a hybrid golf club. The clubs were designed with distance and those tough shots in mind.

Further, it is wise to use custom designed clubs. Since golfers vary in both build and stature it stand to reason that their golf swings will vary as well. Your swing can improve greatly using a custom designed golf club that is based on your statistics, for example your height, your style of swing and your strength.

Having golf clubs professionally tailored to an individual can be particularly advantageous for the golfer who is taller or shorter than average. If your clubs were designed for people taller or shorter than you, the required adjustments will not be helpful for your game. Many golfers know why custom-made golf clubs can help them, and custom hybrid golf clubs have become more popular.

No one really liked utility clubs when they first came out but revisions have revived their popularity.

How Hybrid Golf Clubs Benefit You

The reason the hybrid golf club is so effective is because the center of gravity of the club is at the bottom of the golf club. A basic iron club makes that nearly impossible. With this club, golfers can easily hit the ball high in the air.

Most custom hybrid golf clubs have a flat face and a higher launch angle. This new design makes the ball spin faster and stops quicker, making your accuracy increase.

You can hit a ball more precisely if you use hybrid golf clubs and hit the ball farther in the bargain. Purchasing custom made hybrid golf clubs can greatly help to improve your golf game.

Golf Tips To Get Your Handicap Down

Golf Swing Tips Top secret Getting Kept Under Wraps

If someone is aware of the golf swing tip to hitting 300-yard drives down the middle of the fairway every time they swing at the ball, and also performs for everyone, they are not revealing it. This is evidenced by the number of completely new coaching aids and swing action techniques coming to the market every 12 months.

A lot of coaching pros liken the golf swing secret to the ideal golf swing, in that it really doesn’t exist. It’s not a mystery it’s a fairy tale. There’s no such thing. The earlier in your golf life you recognize that the more comfortable you’ll be. Golf swing advice publications are like diet books. There’s someone willing to sell you a never-before-released system of hitting the ball long and straight.

Although these types of courses contain all the info that made the writer the long-ball hitter he or she is today, the advice may possibly have been formulated by them and it works for them, but it will not work for everybody. In spite of the promises to the contrary, the golf swing secret being peddled cannot work for everyone because everyone has a unique approach to their swing.

A number of Basic principles Involved in A Successful Swing

With many aspects of the golf swing needing to be taken into consideration, which element the golf swing secret being mentioned may benefit some individuals to a certain degree, but no element of any sport can be perfected by reading a book. Watching a golf DVD may provide assistance may prove a lot more successful because humans are visual learners and watching swing movement technique could very well help in comprehending the approach in question.

Learn To Play Golf DVDs Can Really Help You Get A Grip On The Basics

Each and every individual’s swing movement is unique and what functions for her or him is their best swing. Nevertheless, what works for them may not work for someone else. Too many coaching pros present this as simple fact as do numerous professional players. Watching them compete on television makes the lack of a golf swing magic formula apparent as these people all possess distinctive swings.

There’s one golf swing action secret that’s not that secret and that is balance. Utilizing the correct posture and sustaining balance throughout the swing, is one aspect of golfing that’s may be not addressed. Staying balanced throughout the whole driving process and finding a swing that you are relaxed with will certainly help your discovery of the best golf swing for you.

ForeThought
Mental Tips For Better Golf

Talking To Bones.
“Phil to Bones. Phil to Bones. What’s our position? Over.”
“Bones to Phil. We’re 168 yards from the hole. There’s no wind but we need to clear those trees. Looks like a stock 8-iron. Over.”

Maybe Phil Mickelson and his caddie, Jim ‘Bones’ Mackay, don’t communicate by walkie-talkie but you have to wonder whether these player-caddie exchanges we sometimes overhear during telecasts are simply amusing entertainment or a high performance tool? Make no mistake, they’re a high performance tool that you would do well to utilize. So let’s look at why they’re so effective.

Win Wenger, Ph. D., author of The Einstein Factor, says that when we talk out loud through a difficult situation as opposed to mulling it over internally we create a feedback loop. The sound goes out. It’s then heard by our own ears and fed back into our brain causing reinforcement for the original thought. Using a caddie as a sounding board for your thoughts is a similar technique that focuses your decision-making. And even if you don’t have the likes of Bones Mackay on your bag every-day you can achieve the same effect.

Before your pre-shot routine talk yourself through your shot out loud, or at least at a level just above a whisper. You could talk to your head-cover – you know the one you call ‘Slugger’ – or you could talk to your coach as if he’s there. “Okay, coach, I know what you want me to do, take the high-percentage shot, right?”

You might worry that your buddies will try to commit you to the funny-farm if they hear you mumbling to yourself, but they’re probably too busy with their own game to be concerned about you. Who knows, you might improve so much that you’ll end up playing at a level that justifies the hiring of your own ‘Bones Mackay’ and fans, including your buddies, will pay to overhear what you have to say.

Each Spring it is time to get back in the golf swing and begin to limber up for the new season. My first step is to visit the driving range with my trusty seven iron and hit a small bucket of range balls.

Once I arrive at the range I begin to limber up by performing some simple yet very important golf stretching exercises. It usually take me about ten to twelve minutes to perform my routine which prepares my body for the movements it is about to encounter.

Once I feel limber the first thing I do is align the driving mat with a specific location on the driving range. With my seven iron that is usually somewhere around the 150 yard marker. If I cannot get a position near the center of the range, I simply move the mat (change the angle) until it aligns where I want it to.

Now it’s time for a few practice swings. Without concern for positioning my feet properly, I simply begin swinging the golf club with two hands and after a few swings I begin to release my right hand through the swing to remind me that the golf swing is more a “pulling” motion than a “pushing” motion. Once I feel comfortable with rebuilding my muscle memory it’s time to hit some golf balls.

The biggest problem I have at the beginning of each golf season is establishing the proper distance to stand from the ball. It usually takes me about three or four swings to zero in on the correct distance for my seven iron. With the proper distance established, the mat aligned towards the target and my feet parallel to the ball, I’m ready to start the season.

My first ten swings are very soft and deliberate. What I mean by that is I make sure that every aspect of my swing is correct from the take away to impact to the follow through. At this point I am not concerned about distance at all. I simply want to re-establish a good consistent swing. If the ball is not going towards the target I established earlier on, I make a few minor adjustments in my stance, grip or both.

Now my goal is very simply to perform a consistent swing and have the ball land near my target. Once I can accomplish this ten swings in a row, I begin to work on varying my distance and placement. Following these simple steps will help get you back in the golf swing quickly and easily.

This video by director of training Steve Dahlby shows you how to accomplish both as you continue your quest of becoming a better driver.

Taking the average amateur golfer through the important things required to improve their golf game is an important thing to watch. Mike Pedersen continues his excellent teaching method on this par five hole as he watches and comments on the necessary warm up exercises.

Getting the golfer on the green in regulation three strokes is essential in making a par five every time. Watch the video a see for yourself.

Daly show to make it a memorable Masters

FORMER US PGA and British Open champion John Daly has been given a late invite to next week’s 30th anniversary Australian Masters – but will he remember his one previous visit to Melbourne’s Huntingdale layout?

Daly, who is playing this week’s Hong Kong Open, which is co-sanctioned by the Asian and European tours, contacted Masters organizers at the weekend seeking a start at the tournament.

IMG Australasian vice-president David Rollo said yesterday: “I had no hesitation in giving John a sponsor invite. He is a major winner and will add to our field.”

Daly has expressed an interest in joining the European Tour, which started its 2009 schedule with last week’s Singapore Open, and is looking for a swift start in the Race to Dubai, the Tour’s season-long, $US10 million ($15.5m) competition which concludes with the Dubai World Championship next November.

“I’ve enjoyed all my previous trips to Australia,” Daly said in a statement.

Jeev breaks into top 50

Jeev Milkha Singh is back among the elites again with the latest world golf rankings putting the Indian pro on the 46th place after his sensational triumph at the Singapore Open.

Jeev claimed a thrilling one-stroke victory over multiple Major winners Padraig Harrington and Ernie Els at the Singapore Open on the Asian Tour at Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong course on Sunday.

The Chandigarh-pro went to the last hole with a one stroke lead and his par was enough for the win as Harrington and Els missed good birdie chances on the 18th.

Many golfers can’t be bothered with the preparation necessary to have a good round of golf. After all, Good Golf Practice Makes For A Good Golf Game. Every practice session or golf round must be started with a specific exercise regime designed to loosen the muscles used in swinging a golf club.

Because of the effects that stretching can have on your muscle conditioning, it will most likely be necessary to make some adjustments in your swing to compensate for your new found physical condition. If we think about this, the reverse is actuall true. Becasue of your lack of muscle conditioning before a practice session or game, you have been compensating for the lack of looseness in your body. Once you routinely perform some warm up exercises your swing will become more fluid and therefor more consistent.

In this latest video lesson, Mike Pedersen explains just how this happens and how you can become more consistent with your golf game. Remember that good golf practice makes for a good golf game.
