Straight Down the Middle is Arizona’s only internet golf show. It is produced by the Boomer and the Babe Inc in partnership with golfmix.com. Straight Down the Middle is hosted by Pete Peters, host of The Boomer and The Babe Show, Jon Bloom, founder of golfmix.com and Kirk Getsinger also of golfmix. Jon has had a long love of golf and that prompted him to start golfmix.com, an online golf community for the average golfer.

Pete Peters is a newspaper guy turned Internet radio host. He has been teeing it up for over fifty years. He owned, published and wrote for his own golf paper, Southwest Golf, where he covered the PGA, LPGA and Senior Tours in Arizona, Southern California, and Nevada. He has played in countless charity events as well as PGA and LPGA Pro-Ams.

Jon Bloom is a well-known voice in the Valley as a Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals broadcaster and his work on Arizona Sports 620, KTAR. The man many refer to as “Bloomer” served as a play by play voice and sideline reporter on Touchdown Radio’s national broadcasts of the College Football Game of the Week, and works behind the scenes for CBS Sports’ award winning nationally televised coverage of the PGA Tour at the Masters.

Kirk Getsinger is a retired attorney, avid golfer and one of the driving forces behind Golfmix. A lifelong golfer, Kirk has enjoyed many great places and people that the game has connected him with.  He brings to Straight Down the Middle broad perspectives on the game and business of golf.
