Cost:  $3.00 per individual ages 3 and up by May 1st.  Age 3 and under before May 1st is FREE.  goMoms will be contributing for the rest of your entrance fee.

Details:  We will be gathering at the shade structure at the entrance of the outdoor pool area for snacks and drinks at 11:00am.  **FOOD UPDATE TO FOLLOW AT A LATER DATE.  The food portion will end at 1:00pm.  We will also try to have a small area reserved inside the kiddie pool area (chairs permitting).  See below for more details!

Troy Aquatic Center Information:

• Kiddie pool area: 2 small pools with zero depth entry, waterfall to splash in, splash pad area, and small waterslide with lifeguards present.  This is great for the toddlers!
• Main pool: Zero depth entry that gradually goes to 5 feet depth.
• Sand play area: This is located inside the pool area and has a playscape, slide, etc.
• Water slides: There are two 175 foot slides, one is for tubes. Must be 42 inches in height.  No charge for tubes.
• There are concessions available for additional charge.  You are not allowed to bring in outside food or drink into the pool area.
• Bathhouses are available and include showers and lockers.
• Coast Guard approved life jackets, vests, etc are allowed only.
• There are lifeguards on duty, but you are required to have one adult for every 4 kids in the water under 52”.

Weather Info:  Since this is Michigan, we have no idea what we will be in store for.  The pools are heated from between 78-83 degrees.  If the outside high temp for the day is below 65 degrees, storm, etc. then we will still have the outdoor picnic and then we have the option of moving over to the indoor pool.  Please see updates to the Evite and Yahoo Group email for updates the week of the event.

Cost:  Cost $6.00 per person.  (No cost to existing & new board members).  Please pay Heather Schott on or before June 11th.  You may bring your money to the dinner.

Details: Dinner will include your choice of:  Homemade meat lasagna, chicken piccata with artichoke rice, herbed fettucini with sun dried tomatoes, zucchini & spinach tossed in roasted garlic cream sauce.  Main course will be served with sauteed green beans with tri-colored peppers, garlic & fresh basil with Caesar salad.  Soft drinks, coffee, tea and iced tea are included with dinner.  All other beverages can be paid for on an individual basis.

Splashpad Rules:
Swim suits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
Swim diapers are required for all children 4 years old and younger.
NO glass, smoking, alcohol, food, radios or pets allowed.
NO beach balls, noodles, bikes, skateboards, or rollerblades allowed.
NO hanging, climbing, swinging, sliding, or pulling on equipment.
NO chase lawn chairs, umbrellas, or other shade devices.

Come join in the 1st Summer Make and Take Swim Party at Heather Schott’s house. (Drop in when you can)  Heather will have a craft for each of the kids to make and take home.  Kids can also play and swim.  She has a few life jackets/small floaties however please feel free to bring your own.

Bring sack lunches and a blanket and kids can have a picnic on the lawn.  Heather will provide water and juice to help stay hydrated.

**Please note that if the weather is not good to be outside, Heather will cancel through Evite and try and reschedule.  She will be hosting one Summer Make and Take Swim Party each month for the summer.

There is a padded floor area that is perfect for the babies who are crawling through toddlers.  It has things to climb through and mats to climb up and on, mini balance beams, mini bars, and a mini trampoline too.  And then the regular big kid gym equipment as well.  So this one is great for all the age ranges in our group!!!
