The different ways that technology can benefit a church are endless. More church leaders are finding ways to efficiently and effectively use technology to help with their communication, managing new visitors, and facilitate church growth.

When it comes down to church management software there are many companies that provide good products but before you make a decision that had a direct effect on the efficiency of your operation you really should do your homework.

Here are a few things that you need to look at before you make a decision:

• Efficiency: If you have an administrative staff, whether it’s your wife working the front desk, or you a hundred or more staff members, they are going to thank you if you make a technological decision that will increase efficiency by lowering their workload and still increasing productivity.
• Long Term Cost: In this current economic climate price is a huge factor, but don’t make a decision on the sticker price, ROI is king. In many cases your ChMS (church management software) is going to save you money in payroll. Just because a ChMS is going to cost you $600 annualy you actually may be saving $1200 annually on payroll.
• Demo:If the potential church management software you’re looking into doesn’t provide a free demo, or a 30 day trial you should move on. You don’t want to purchase a vehicle without giving it a test spin first

.

• Payroll: Some ChMS’s provide payroll services some don’t, here’s the thing, if you cut your own checks, or use a Payroll provider like ADP you don’t need payroll services and a lot times ChMS will charge extra for doing payroll, so if you don’t need it don’t pay for it.

Not all ChMS’s are created equal so don’t make a hasty decision, there are many ChMS providers that are competing for your business so take your time but your decision should also involve the level of service that the ChMS provides and the ease of use. You don’t want to be stuck with a technical problem and have nobody to call if something goes wrong.

1. Credit cards.
2. Auto loans.
3. Home loan – mortgage.
4. Student loans.

3. Bankruptcy (unless it is your LAST choice).
4. DEBT SETTLEMENT (beware).
