Pick up line #1

I thought it’s time to start spreading some of the sweet pick up lines that I personally use. I’m not going to say they work, but I will say I use them? This first pick up line may seem a little odd, but I guarantee at least a weird look and a blank stare if they walk past you at any point during the night.

Ok, you walk into the bar, scan the area, and find the most attractive girl in the room (make sure she doesn’t have a guy with her, or it won’t work *or maybe it will*). Walk up to her right when you see her, and say, “I just wanted to let you know that I’m not left handed”, and walk away. Don’t say another word to her, just turn around and walk away.

This will leave her wondering what you meant by this. She will be intrigued… Anytime she sees you in the bar, she will look over at you with that, “What did you mean by that?!” look on her face. Just smile at her and keep on walking.

She will do a little drinking, and when she finally comes over to your table and asks you what you meant by that, follow up with, “Oh, I just wanted to be on your mind all night”.

Score…

That is best case scenario, and 9/10 times you will just be that crazy guy that asks weird questions. But really, what do you have to lose if you are going to be using pick up lines anyways?

If I remembered the name of the guy I got this from, I would definitely be giving credit, but I will say he was short and bald…

Brew Tour 08′

Well, it’s t-minus 27 hours before I am on the road to Dallas to meet up with CT to begin an adventure that will be glorious. We will be leaving Dallas and heading to Colorado! No, no, we aren’t going to go skiing, or snowboarding, or anything like most people do in Colorado. We are going on a BREW TOUR!!! We have a list of around 100 breweries/brewpubs in Colorado, and we plan on visiting as many as we can before next friday.

I can’t say that this was a well thought out, planned in advance, vacation. I think we actually decided on what we were doing on Tuesday (we leave Friday). We had some vacation chillin, and thought, “Hell, might as well”. I may have to start posting more on this darn blog, and post some pics of brew tour 08′. So if anyone is in the Colorado area, we shall be drinking from Saturday until Friday…

I… drew up some simple designs in Illustrator and colored in Photoshop; they came out pretty nice, I must say. It’s been awhile since I’ve made some time for artwork due to Aiden’s birth (he’s beating my face in with his little mitts as I type this) and my better half (you know the deal). I was just inspired to create after looking at the work of a Gawker Artist named Bard. Pretty cool stuff. All I need now is a tablet and a slot of time for stronger compositions (like a complete body) and I’ll be set.

are not fun. They need arcades in there. Also, better furniture to sleep in. Like some sorta futon. Sleeping in a recliner is ridiculously painful. I also tried the floor for its flat surface. So, yea, better furniture and Sega GT would be good.
