Highest Paying Google AdSense Keywords Hoax

A friend sent me a list of supposedly highest paying keywords for contextual advertising. I wonder is this true or whether this is just a gimmick to make other people believe so... and me supporting the hype by reproducing it here? For your amusement the partial list is at the end of this article. (and don't be surprised if google actually serves you those ads matching those keywords.)

Assuming that whoever produced this list is correct, by looking at the data one can tell that NY and Chicago lawyers are willing to pay a lot of money to get a potential customer via online ads.

But can someone explain why mesothelioma is in the top rank? Is it because people are afraid to get it? Or is it because many people have it already?

Luckily Google doesn't allow porn ads, otherwise we would have been drowning in nasty ads, which probably would have had the highest click rate ever.

Here is a list of free top paying keywords for google adsense. Rates given here is the average for top three postion, updated 19th November, 2006. The high paying keywords provided here is just for keyword research and analysis purpose. We are not affiliated with google or google adsense in anyway.

Please note that the rates given are what publishers pay google for top spots on google search results page. Rates for partner sites will be much lesser. Also google takes a good cut before passing it to the publisher. However the rates are true indicators for the earning potential for any niche.

Applying top paying keywords in your website is quite similar to Search Engine Optimization. However, there are many differences as well. I have done in-depth research on the subject. On the basis of that research, I have marked the points you need to keep in mind while optimizing your website for maximum payouts through highest paying Adsense keywords. We will discuss how to apply top paying keywords as well as traffic pulling keywords to a webpage for maximum payouts and traffic.

First of all, we must understand that Google Adsense bot (formally known as Google Mediabot) is a subset of Google's main crawler. I have a couple of blogs and experimenting with google adsense. I'm in for only a couple of months, so i actually thought the main thing i need is great traffic.

Things changed when one of my posts (not from this blog) went to reddit top 5. it then appeared at fark and delicious tops also. i had something like 60000 visitors in two days, and earned... well, a dollar or so.

that's the moment i started thiniking about optimizing my pages for adsense.

I already had ads with no borders, and colors were matching my template. i searched web for some answers, and did a couple of things. after that, my CTR increased about 20 times. unfortunately, at that moment traffic was quite low, but i still have some everyday income that is about 20 times higher. here are the simple steps:

Instead of 468x15 Link Unit i put 300x250 Rectangle at the top of my page under it's header.
I made links blue. Yes, people simply expect free links to be blue.
I made ads urls color match text color.

As simple as that! If i did that before, i could get about 150$ in 2 days. So make the changes right now!. If you experience your CTR increase after doing this (belive me, you will!), let me know. Perhaps, next success story will be about you!

Prevent Getting Banned From Adsense

Dont ever get banned from adsense if you have clicked your ads,by mistake…follow this technique

The way I keep this from happening is I temporarily block
the domain name Google’s ads are served from.

First, find your HOSTS file which depends on which os you are using.

Open Notepad or any text editor. Go to File, and Choose Open.

If you have Windows 95, 98, or ME browse to the folder
“C:\windows”

If you have Windows XP Home browse to the folder
“C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc”

If you have anything else (Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000, NT,
2003, etc.) browse to the folder:
“C:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc”

Once you’re there, open the file called “hosts”. If you
don’t see anything listed just type the word hosts and the
file should open up. Just the word “hosts”, no extension or
anything after that. It’s probably blank but it might not
be.

Add this line:

127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com

And save. You’re done.

Now go back to a site that you know has some Google Ads.
There should be an empty space where the ads appeared.

Want to turn it off? Don’t just delete it, put a “#” sign in
front of that line, like this which is equivalent to commenting the statement:

# 127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com

What’s that do? It basically says “ignore this line.” I like
to leave it like that so when I want to hide Google Ads
again, all I have to do is remove the “#” sign and save –
then put the “#” back in when I’m ready to go back to
normal.

To me, making a quick change in your HOSTS file to turn
AdSense on and off is easier than fiddling around with a
firewall program.

How to activate your Google Adsense Account Without receiving PIN Code?

A large number of new Adsense Publishers fail to receive their Adsense PIN code at their address especially in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Srilanka and other developing countries. Resultantly, they either lose interest in Adsense business or they decide to quit using it.

There is no need to worry about Google Adsense PIN because it is just a Google Adsense procedure to verify the accuracy of your contact information and to help ensure that you can receive your payments. There are some other ways that you can verify your address and remove the Payment Hold at your Adsense Account. It is important to understand the complete procedure: -

As you can see in the above link that your Adsense pin will be issued once your account balance reaches $10 for the first time and you should receive your Adsense pincode within 3 to 4 weeks at your address depending upon your location.

New Adsense publishers get so much excited about it and the start checking mails and some also visit post offices asking about mails from Google Adsense. The excitement soon converts into anguish and they start worrying about Adsense PIN with the passage of time.

With a mixed feeling of excitement and anguish they decide to email Google Adsense Support but they get an annoying AutoResponse emails stating that we have once again sent you the PIN which you will get it another 4-5 weeks which further aggravate this situation.

2. Alternatively, please review your address information and respond to this email. If there’s an error in your address, you can update it by following these steps:

- Log in to your AdSense account at https://www.google.com/adsense
- Click the ‘My Account’ tab.
- Under the ‘Payee Information’ section, click ‘Edit’
- Edit the appropriate address fields. Please note that the Country and Payee Name fields cannot be edited.
- Click ‘Save Changes’

Once we receive your response, we’ll be happy to send you another PIN by standard mail.

Now, simply response to this email with a scanned copy of your government issued ID card, bank statement, or telephone bill. If your CNIC or other documents are not in support languages then you need to translate it into supported language with the help of Notary Public. Government of Pakistan issues ID card in Urdu language which is not supported language. So you need to contact any authorized notary public for translation of CNIC in English which you can scan and email to Adsense Support in response to above email. Please make sure that address should be the same as it appears in your Adsense account.

You might have to send it twice or thrice but finally you will get this email from Adsense Support which will make you happy and your payment hold will be lifted.

“Thanks for your email. After verifying your ID proof, I am happy to let
you know that I have manually overridden your PIN requirement and you
won’t be required to enter another PIN for this account in the future.
Going forward, please keep in mind that if your payments are on hold for
any reason other than PIN or phone verification, you’ll need to remove the
holds prior to the 15th in order to be paid in that month. Otherwise, your
outstanding earnings will roll-over to the following month and you’ll be
paid out according to our normal payment cycle.
Once you’ve removed any additional holds from your account, you’ll be
issued a payment at the end of the first month after your balance reaches
US $100.”

Blog 'miracle' saves Christmas for hard-luck family

(CNN) -- A family facing foreclosure is anything but a unique story in these troubled economic times.

But this is a happier story of one family whose financial ruin was averted by the actions of a friend, the compassion of strangers, the networking power of the Internet and the holiday spirit of giving.

"This is our Christmas story," said Ebony Sampson. "It's going to be told for generations and generations to come."

Sampson, who lives in Aberdeen, Maryland, with her husband, Daniel, and their two young children, has overcome more hardship than one person should ever have to face. When she was in the 10th grade, she lost her entire family in a horrific car accident. Raised by a grandmother in New York, Ebony eventually used some life-insurance money from her parents' death to buy the home in Aberdeen, near where she grew up.

But in June, Daniel got sick. After several tests, his doctors concluded that he was suffering from salmonella after eating a tainted tomato. As a new employee of Bank of America, he had not accrued enough paid time off to keep his job as a credit-card account manager. Watch how the Sampsons' home was saved »

Suddenly, the sole breadwinner in the Sampson household was out of work. Though the Sampsons received unemployment checks from the government, the money wasn't enough to make ends meet.

First came the shut-off notices from the electric company. Then one of their cars broke down. One morning, Daniel woke up and looked out his bedroom window and saw his truck was missing. It had been repossessed.

With no job, no car and no income, the Sampsons got another surprise: Ebony Sampson learned she was eight weeks pregnant.

The Sampsons returned home from church, where they are practicing ministers, on a Sunday in November to find a stranger knocking on their front door. He wanted to put a bid in on their house. Ebony told him their home was not for sale. The next day, the Sampsons were notified that they were facing foreclosure unless they could come up with $10,000 in the next two weeks to bring their mortgage up to date.

"Once we received that letter, it was like, 'Oh my God, what are we going to do?' " Daniel Sampson said. "I don't think anyone in their right mind would receive a foreclosure notice and not be rattled by it."

Somehow, the couple maintained their sense of humor. Ebony Sampson called one of her oldest friends, Jaki Grier, and jokingly asked her if she had $10,000. Jaki told her, "Sure, just let me open up my invisible purse!"

But then Grier got an idea.

A self-described geek, Grier started blogging years ago. Since then, she's contributed to a magazine's Web site and regularly posts thoughts and life happenings on her LiveJournal page. So, she published Ebony and Daniel's story, along with a link where people could make a donation.

At the most, Jaki thought she could raise enough money to help the Sampsons pay a security deposit on an apartment after their home was auctioned.

But donations started pouring in. Within 24 hours, Grier's blog had raised $1,000, far exceeding her expectations. People started linking to Grier's blog from sites across the Internet and around the country.

Attorneys posted legal advice. Others in similar situations offered sympathy. One woman sent a donation with a note that said she had just lost her own home but wanted to help anyway. Another woman wrote that she didn't have a car but would walk to her grocery store with a jar of change and donate it to the cause.

Yet another e-mail came from a woman who was unemployed, with no job prospects. She donated a dollar.

With every donation, the total raised ticked higher and higher on Grier's blog.

"Everybody wants to give to a charity, but so many times when you give to a charity you don't really see where your money goes," Grier said. "At least with this, you saw the little [donations] ticker go. I think that made people excited."

Four days after Grier's blog post, she had raised $3,400 -- enough to repair the Sampsons' car. That night, Grier went to bed ecstatic. The next morning she checked her PayPal account and was stunned to find the balance had ballooned to $10,900.

In the time it took Grier to take the donation link down from her blog, the balance had reached $11,032. In just five days, she had raised enough money to save her friend's home. A Baltimore TV station, WBAL, caught wind of the story and put it on the air. Someone contacted Daniel Sampson and offered him a job interview.

"It's been overwhelming," Daniel Sampson said. "For me, out of all the donations [we] received, it was a little kid [who] came knocking on the door early Saturday morning ... with a five-dollar bill in his hand. He just came up to the door and said, 'Here you go, mister.' Then he just walked away. I was, like, speechless. He couldn't have been more than 8 years old."

Now Daniel and Ebony Sampson will be able to enjoy Christmas much more than they thought they would just a few weeks ago. They say that once their children are grown, they'll tell them the story of how one holiday season they came within days of losing their house. They'll spend this Christmas full of thanks.

"It doesn't seem real to me, and so I just thank everyone out there that cares," Ebony Sampson said. "There really was no hope for us. Then, out of nowhere, just the kindness of strangers, just people that came and, you know, provided for us. Jaki was our beacon of light that led them to us.

"It's a personal blessing. It's a personal miracle. It makes you understand what the season is all about."

If Your Site End Up Being Rejected by Google...

If Your Site Is Rejected by Google...
If you receive that email from Google stating that your site has not been accepted, the first thing you should remember is that as an AdSense member, you become a partner and are representing Google, Inc.
They have to make sure the websites that display these ads are up to par or they could run the risk of losing advertisers. Imagine if you were paying Google to display your ad and you found it showing up on a poorly developed, junky website.
Of course, if your site is rejected, it doesn't mean it is poorly developed. There may be other reasons:
1) Is your site an "About Me" page?
Google does not usually accept these kinds of personal sites because most of them do not have a specific topic or theme. They are usually just random facts about the website owner or their hobbies, pictures, etc.
It would be difficult for Google's technology to display targeted ads on these kinds of pages because the topics vary from subject to subject.
They are looking for "themed" sites that contain a generous amount of information on a specific topic. It could be anything from sewing tips to sports. Just make sure there is an obvious theme with adequate information.
2) Is your site organized?
Be sure your site has a neat and clean navigation that's easy to follow. Also ensure all the links work and that there are no typos. Keep the colors to a minimum and make sure each page has a consistent layout.
3) How many pages are on your site?
Even though Google doesn't specify a page number requirement, many believe they are looking for web sites with a certain amount of content. Again, it's not likely a two-page site will get accepted. Try to strive for at least 15 pages.
4) Is your content solid?
Don't just submit a website with a bunch of links to other sites. Be sure you have a themed/niche site with enough original content of your own.
5) Is your site an exact carbon copy of someone else's?
Some believe Google can find out if your site is original or not. Don't risk it and steal from someone else. It will come back to haunt you.
If you're stuck, write a few articles of your own and then go to sites like www.articlecity.com and sprinkle a few of their articles around your site to beef it up.
6) Be sure to read their program policy and procedures carefully and make sure your site hasn't violated any of the terms.
