Despite hauling the dSLR with me everywhere, the majority of the photos I’ve taken have been with my iPhone, a few with the point and shoot. It’s just so much easier.

Yesterday I took the ferry to Coronado, walked the mile across the peninsula, down the mainstreet, stopped for a patio lunch and then spent the afternoon on the beach. It was my perfect beach weather – sunny but windy enough that it wasn’t hot. I walked past Hotel del Coronado and took the bus back up to the ferry landing where I had time to shop, have an ice cream cone and admire the view of down town San Diego. After that, sushi dinner and a bit of suffering thanks to uneven and inadequate application of sun lotion. Today, a new adventure.
