With the unparalleled rise of the internet and use of email in the last decade it is no surprise that email has become one of the most useful and effective tools for companies of all kinds to sell and market their products. Similar to its older brother "snail mail", businesses use email to contact interested customers and potential customers who have not expressed direct interest in the product or service they offer. Because of the monumental increase in junk or "spam" mail being sent to unsuspecting email addresses around the world, nearly all email servers have some layer of protection for their email clients so their inboxes are not being abused and filled up by unsolicited email.

CargoWise edi, a leading provider of integrated international supply chain logistics management systems, says the decision for freight forwarding companies to outsource their IT solutions to a third party logistics provider is becoming increasingly easy to make in today's dynamic global business environment. The decision to move to an outsourced IT strategy, however, still requires an in-depth evaluation of each company's in-house IT capabilities as it relates to the supply chain requirements of its customers.

A Simple Look At Control Subversion

A free piece of software in itself and commonly known as SVN, version control subversion is a computersystem that allows people to keep historical data for files that have anything to do with computer languages, computer codes, and computer applications. From a layman's perspective Subversion is a tool that lets software developers track any changes made for the development of new software. In common industries alone, say, fast food joints, tracking changes made to every gadget, every grill, every ingredient, must be tracked so people have a record of how a product evolved and where they have gone wrong, just in case the latest version of the product is not profitable or if it is short of being useless.

Many times companies find themselves on email blacklists. Or perhaps you are looking at integrating an email blacklist within your email solution? Either way this list of the top email blacklists will help you. Beware.. utilizing email blacklists can prevent a large amount of spam, but some lists can be overly aggressive and you could lose important messages. It is important to constantly review bounced emails for anyone caught erroneously by the list.

It seems to me that almost every day I pick up some type of IT, Information Security, or Business Continuity magazine or journal and find that there is an article or headline story on the latest data breach. These are not mom and pop shops or small businesses they are happening at major corporations and governmental organizations. The breaches involve millions of customer files, or thousands of medical records, or critical intellectual property that has either been taken for fraudulent use or simply lost and no one in authority can account for its whereabouts.

This could be attributed to the fact that, as a UNIX application, Mac OS X is fairly secure, and it could also do with the fact that they have had a smaller market share. On February 14, 2006, this equation changed a bit.

With the RSA conference held last week in San Francisco the web has been on fire with the latest in reports on computer threats and malware. Symantec also recently released the annual Internet Security report stating that there has been a 468% increase of threats from 2006 to 2007. At a time when the focus is on computer security I began to wonder whether the general public actually has any interest. I decide to use Google trends to analyze what the masses were searching for in terms of security. Both from the prevention side as well as the attack side. I was surprised by my results.
