He has graduated in Commerce from IPS DAVV which was initially not his plan but from that time only he wish to become ias.

Parents work hard to fulfill every dream of a child and it was done by Pradip Singh of Indore. Realizing that he had to sell his jewelery and house in order to fulfill his dream, Pradip has realized his dream of becoming an IAS by passing UPSC in his first attempt. In 2018, Pradip Singh made his parents' name bright by getting 93rd position.

Pradeep is originally from Bihar and has prepared for UPSC from Delhi. He had dreamed of becoming an IAS since he was very young.

He wanted to work for women's empowerment, women's security. "I was determined to become an IAS and I started taking steps in that direction."- he said in an interview given to a news channel.

Pradip, who is ranked 93rd in UPSC, stayed in Delhi and prepared for the competitive exams. In poverty, their parents left no stone unturned in teaching. Pradeep's parents taught him to meet their needs. Pradeep's father came to Madhya Pradesh in 1992 and worked at a petrol pump here.

Pradeep's father sold the house to send his son to Delhi to prepare for UPSC. The family has been living in a rented house ever since. The mother also sold her jewelry to continue the study. On his way to Delhi, Pradeep assured his mother that he would definitely be selected and that is what happened. After studying at Indore DAVV, Pradip moved to Delhi. Passed the UPSC exam in the first attempt on the strength of perseverance, concentration and hard work.

Pradeep Singh, who topped the UPSC, did not have stable financial condition of his family. (Because father Manoj Singh used to work at petrol pump. Mother is a housewife. )
