Eagle River Mudfest came and went last month.  Go West Happy Cow was honored to be one of the films that screened at the film part of the festival, which also included lots of music and even more mud.

If you’ve seen Go West Happy Cow you’re more than familiar with the theme of “bromance.”  Andy Lange, featured artist on the Go West Happy Cow soundtrack, just produced a song that’s taken YouTube by storm (over 4 million views in 4 days) and is currently #1 on iTunes comedy section!

Those who braved a full-on Wisconsin blizzard this past weekend got to enjoy some fine Wisconsin-themed films at the stunningly beautiful Stefanie H. Weill Center in Sheboygan, WI.  ”Go West Happy Cow” closed out opening night festivities, preceded by “Being Bucky,” a fantastic, award-winning documentary about Bucky Badger student mascots at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Saturday night we laughed with the classic, “American Movie,” and enjoyed “The Godfather of Green Bay” and met the Director/Star, Pete Schwaba.  Sunday featured “Song Sung Blue” and “Feed the Fish.”

Especially cool was hearing from many of the stars and the minds behind the movies and having them all relate to Wisconsin was great fun.  Thanks to the people at the Weill Center, the Grandstay Sheboygan, and the 8th Street Ale House.

The 2012 Beloit International Film Festival (Feb. 16-19) was a blast!!!  Everything from the Launch and Laurels on Thursday night to the BAD (BIFF After Dark) parties were well put together and made us feel welcome.  Thursday night’s screening at Bushel and Peck’s was nearly sold out and Friday night in Janesville was a full house, so full that a third screening was added!  Kudos to the organizers.  The entire Go West Happy Cow team would like to say thank you.  Team members Kurt, Tyler, Jack, Valerie, Troy, and Isaac all came out to the red carpet.

We’re in a film festival!  February 16-19, 2012 is the Beloit International Film Festival in Beloit, WI and Go West Happy Cow is happy to be getting some play at it.

More details and tickets will be available soon, but we’re excited to kick off 2012 with this announcement and opportunity for all of you to catch Go West Happy Cow on the big screen and meet some of it’s cast and crew.

Until now we’ve kept our top secret route just that, top secret.  But, alas, it’s road trip season and we think it’s only right our fans can follow in the hoof steps of Kurt the Cow and Mike as they ventured across our great nation on a quest of epic proportions.

Surely, Happy Cow heaven must look something like this.  There are a few things that keep this cow cool, one is being poolside (or wading in a creek or pond) and the second is drinking a cold, delicious Happy Cow beer.

If you’re lucky enough to live in the great state of Wisconsin, be sure to stock up on Happy Cow Beer for days like today.  If you don’t live in Wisconsin, give Kurt the Cow a call and he just may grab his trusty sidekick, Mike, and swing by with a case (or two).  And if you live in Los Angeles, you’re also in luck because Go West Happy Cow will be returning for another screening this Summer and rumor has it there may be some cold Happy Cow beer on tap.  Stay tuned for an official announcement…
