• You can click on profile pictures to rotate through them.

• If you’re looking for more fun things in your stream, the “Incoming” stream is stuff from people who are sharing with you, but who you haven’t added to a circle.

Google introduce some Good tricks through google Plus, Here are some of them:

• Add a + or @ signal to mention someone specifically in a post

• Share your post with Public or Circle/Circles only. You can even share a post with an individual by typing their name or email address

• Click on the Timestamp to get the permalink (web URL) of any post

• You can edit the uploaded photos by selecting ‘Action’ and ‘Edit Photo’

• Resize the Chat Box by dragging its corner or sides

• You can mute posts by selecting ‘Mute this post’ from ‘Options Menu’ on right side of the post

• You can also do – ‘Link to this Post’, ‘Report Abuse’, ‘Block this Person’ – from ‘Options Menu’

• You can do – Edit it, Delete it, Disable comment or Disable Re sharing a post – for your posts

Its really important to keep everything as attractive as possible while writing posts. Text Area boxes are a useful method of showing long bunch of text or code on your blog. Google's new social networking site, Google+, launched to much fanfare last week. The new service, currently in invite-only stage, has created a buzz with its novel sharing and group video chat features.

The social network is Google's attempt to change the quasi-monopoly Facebook has enjoyed in the social media space for the past five years. But Google+ will also have far-reaching implications for search. And while some of the details of how Google + will ultimately affect search remain unclear, here are the key areas to watch below.

Search Results

Google suspended its Realtime Search on July 4. The search feature, which displayed Twitter feeds in real time, was turned off by Google because its contract with Twitter had expired. It is clear however, that the contract was not renewed because Google plans on including their own Google+ live feed into their searches, rather than Twitter's. So while the details remain murky, you should anticipate some iteration of Google +'s live feed displayed alongside search results in the near future.

Brand pages

Google has said that their social network is not ready to support brand pages or profiles yet. Obviously, if it wants a chance to compete with the likes of Facebook, the company will have to offer brands a compelling profile or page to communicate with their followers. What kind of platform Google+ intends to offer brands is yet to seen.

URLs

Unlike Facebook, you can't yet claim your URL within Google+. This may be connected to the fact that the company hasn't rolled out brand pages yet, but either way, you'll have to wait until you can start printing your Google+ URL on your business cards.

Sparks Rankings

Sparks is Google+'s personalized content aggregator. Users can pick themes (such as cooking or cycle-cross, for example), and have content streamed to their profiles.

The SEO community is abuzz trying to decipher how, exactly, one would increase their chances of getting their content into Sparks. Some have speculated that the process is akin to getting on top of Google News pages. Barry Schwartz of seroundtable.com posted a reply from a Google exec saying that Sparks is "still very much in flux and being further expanded and tuned." Therefore, the SEO community continues to wait.

Google indexes public posts from Google+, maknig them available in search results, both when you are logged in and logged out of Google+. Private posts do not currently show up in Google search. Google+ also indexes all comments made on public posts, which will undeniably hold substantial SEO weight.

Overall, Google+ has a lot of sharing to do about how, exactly, it intends to rank content.

If there is one main takeaway of the implications Google+ has on SEO however, it is that real users, not keyword-and-link-seeking robots, will increasingly rank and share content. The Emoticons Will appear In Both Readers and Author’s Comments!

As you know the yahoo smileys tutorials has one disadvantage and that is that the emoticons appear only in readers comments and can not be displayed in author comments. In order to make the emoticons appear even in Authors comment block then simply replace the code in bolded red colour above (i.e Author-comment-body ) with the CSS class for blog owners customized comments. Go to Blogger > Layout > Edit HTML
Backup your template
Search for .post blockquote and delete it along with all its occurrences. In most templates the codes look like this,

If you couldn’t find such code then it is OK.

Customization:-
Important areas to be customized are bolded. Where,

padding: It refers to the distance of the text from blockquote borders. Which goes in this order –> Top Right Bottom Left
background :- This includes Blockquote background color and image used in it. The six digit value is the background color and image link is inserted in place of bolded text in this part-> url(Paste Image Link here)
font :- It includes font style, size and type respectively. Match the colours with the code above for reference.
color :- This refers to text colour. You can use a different font colour using our color chart
border :- This refers to border width, style and colour respectively.
All other blockquotes can be customized in similar way.

5. After customizing finally save your template and preview it to see the interesting new change.
Note:- For Blockquotes with inverted commas, canopy style and the Monkey Man, there is a little more coding required. Read below
Guide:- For above mentioned blockquotes you need to add some extra tags inside blogger editor as explained below,
Now Whenever you have written a Quote inside the compose mode of Blogger Editor simply switch to the HTML mode and add two tags i.e <div> and </div> between the blockquote tags as demonstrated below,

Style Post and Sidebar Titles With Google fonts In Blogger

Google Fonts API as I previously mentioned in Part -1 of the post "How To use Google fonts in Blogger?" is of immense importance when it comes to using any font style you wish for your web designs without having to bother whether or not the fonts are installed on a visitors computer or not. The fonts are stored on Google servers and you simply need to embed them in your templates to let the fonts appear on your blog. I demonstrated in great detail in Embedding Google fonts in Blogger Post about how can you use the Google Fonts Previewer tool and add the embeddable code and CSS code to your Blogger templates. Today we will learn how would you use these font in Blogger posts, titles, block quotes, sidebars, headers, footers etc. Kindly see a demo first:

Choosing a Font Style and Embedding the Font

Go To Google Font Previewer
Choose Your selected font style and then copy the first line of code as shown below,

This line will look similar to the one below,

You will have to add a back slash "/" at the end of the above link like this,

LOCK and UNLOCK Blogger Widgets

By default almost widgets in blogger blogs are editable. By Clicking the edit button, you can either perform edit, remove or cancel functions. You may have observed that some widgets can not be removed from page elements for example the Header widget which lets you add a background image to your header or add your site logo. All those widgets which can not be removed are LOCKED and we learn today how to UNLOCK those widgets. We will also learn how to LOCK any widget we want so that it could only be edited but not removed.

How To LOCK/UNLOCK a Widget in Blogger?

Go To Blogger > Design
You will see many widgets in your page element section. Get the ID of the widget you want to remove. You can get the widgetID by placing your mouse cursor at the Edit link of that specific widget. You will see a link appearing near the status bar of your Mozilla/Chrome browser like this,

    3. Simply note down the widgetID which in my case is HTML12. You widget ID is one that appears between widgetid= and &action
The Widget that you want to lock looks like this in UNLOCK mode,
UNLOCK MODE:

    You can clearly see that there are three buttons which are REMOVE, CANCEL and SAVE
    Now we want to delete the REMOVE button so that the widget could only be edited but not removed.
    4. Now go to Blogger > Design > Edit HTML
    5. Backup your template
   6. Search for your widget ID. (In my case I will search for HTML12
   7. You will find a code similar to this,

8. Now to LOCK the widget simply let locked to true
9. Save your template and Your Widget is now LOCKED.
Go to Page Elements section and you will see that your widget has no REMOVE button now.

Customize Blogger Navbar - Add It To Sidebar!

We can make a custom navbar using the Blogger Official Search and Navbar widget provided in different color schemes. This is again a great trick using the Iframe Technique. This idea came into my mind just last night when I observed that the source file of our blog had two Iframed widgets one is the poll widget and another is the Navbar. Fortunately, this is again a first time shared tutorial by us. Although we often remove Blogger Navigation bar but its Search function and share and follow links can prove very important.
