Heikki Kovalaien took the reigns for Caterham F1 on Friday, following team-mate Vitaly Petrov's two day stint in the CT01. Kovalainen ended the test satisfied with the team having ironed out various issues but is confident the team will be in a better position come the first race of the season.

Kobayashi: No problems, but room for improvement

Kamui Kobayashi took the reigns from team-mate Sergio Pérez on Thursday, driving the C31 for the first time in Barcelona. The Japanese concentrated on set-up and aero work, testing two different rear wings. No problems were experienced throughout the day but the 25 year-old felt there was more work left to do.
