I can haz iPhone?

Umm.... yeah!

I can haz iphone! On thursday! I've got the iphone now, (got it on saturday) from the local phone shop (well if 15 minutes drive is local). Filling out forms, etc took around 10 minutes, then, my favorite part was when she said, you can activate it at home if you want. I was like YAY. I've not seen many youtube videos of the activation process, so ill do one, and put it up in another post. So I've currently got a black iPhone 3G (8GB) in the box + plastic wrapping and a Movistar (a spanish phone company, who i was with on a Pre-pay tariff, and luckily, they got the rights to the iphone.) sim card.

It was kinda funny when she started to tell me that to copy files to the iphone, and to activate i'd need a program called "ei-Too-Nez" but after i told her I already had an ipod nano, and that I used iTunes, she gave me the guaranty forms, and we were off!

So, now I haz gotz 3 days till iPhone! =D

I am working on an iPhone theme for SummerBoard, It will be called WaterTheme, and is available on My Repo. You cannot currently download it, but add my Repo, and I'll put another post when it's ready for use!

Here's a screenshot, I made this of the first & default icons I did. Its not been used on an iPhone yet. But as soon as it has, I'll post an iPhone version of a screenshot!

As of now, school is officialy over! No more homework and teachers 'till September!!

On Monday I'm going picking up my grades, and then it's beach time. I'll be making a lot more posts in the summer!

If you saw my previous post (it worked, so you must have) I blogged about blog.gears, from google. Well, i logged onto my laptop today, and checked out my blog. And YES! it did work! So now i know, i can safely blog even if i dot have an internet connection. All i need is an idea, and my laptop. That means no more writing ideas on notepad, or in word. If you still don't know what Google.gears is go check it out here.
When I was using FireFox 3 BETA, it wouldn't work, but as soon as I got FireFox 3, the final version, i looked under the tools menu at the top, and there it was, Google.Gears, so i went to the Blog.Gears site, (http://tinyurl.com/2e8r5h) and it worked, all I had to do was login to my blogger account, accept that i wanted allow blog.gears (a google.gears window pops up asking fo your permission) and it brought up all my current posts, with links saying view and edit, and it had the exact time it was posted.
I'll probably use blog.gears quite alot now, as it takes less time to load than blogger, and it actually works online(even though its, meant for offline blogging). I just wish there was a function like this on W.Bloggar, well, there are quite of things I'd like to change about w.bloggar, but thats a different story, and I think I've typed enough for now ;).

iPhone to spain!!!

Today at the WWDC, steve jobs confirmed that the iPhone will be on 70 countries by July and all those countries will have 3G capability by September..

It was also confirmed that the iphone2 will have 3G networking, and will be available in black and white:

It is now in the apple store, with all the specs, although youm cannot buy it, and news says you may never be able to buy it online, as it may require instore activation!! It's good, AND bad in some ways, many people want to go, buy the iPhone and run off home as quick as possible, to get the iPhone going, but if it requires in-store activation, the cues would be huge. If on July 11th in New York for example, there are 1000 people waiting for the 3G model, they'd be there for hours!

For people put of the USA, it's ok, as in much of those countries the iPhone has yet to be released, so to those people it would be normal, but if you've cued up once, and you go again and have to wit longer, you'll have quite a few impatient customers on your hands.

Here in Spain, if it's going to be sold in the telefonica shops, then it won't be too busy, as there is a Telefonica/Movistar shop in every small town.

I can't wait to get mine!

Hey, so, as you probably saw in an earlier post, I had entered a Graphic Design contest at my school. Unfortunately, i found out that I had come 2nd, being beat by someone doing a design course. The winner got a trip to a theme park, (not sure why they'd give that for a graphics competition) and not anything to do with art or photography, so I'm not THAT bothered, but there is another competition for the next science week we do, so I'll tell you how it goes! (:

I just downloaded w.bloggar, v4.02, a very simple program. Basically, it lets you type up a blog post on your computer (as I am doing with this post). It is available on Windows, Mac and Linux.
As I've only been using it for an hour more or less I don't know TO much about it, so as soon as I'm more familiar whit it I will probably post a video review.
I have the link to their website over on the right, so go check it out!

iPhone to Spain!

It has now been confirmed that spanish phone service "Movistar" of Telefónica will be selling the apple iPhone in spain.

Yesterday at the Professional Communications Congress, PROCOM Aragón 2008, hold at the university of Zaragoza, The biggest mobile phone operators in Spain: Vodafone, Orange and of course Telefonica Movistar, talked about the immediate situation about the iPhone in this country.

Fco. José Santos Esteras from Telefonica affirmed they have an exclusive contract with Apple to distribute the iPhone in our country, but this contract contract won’t be illimited, Danie Pujol from Orange said it will be effective supposedly for only three or six months.

Unfortunately they didn´t talk about the launch date of the different available versions of the product: iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iTablet or all of them.

School Competition

Hey, i found out today that my school is having a science&technology competition. Were you can give a CD in with a video on you've made, or an image you've edited, or a photo you've take. You obviously have to own the copyright to the image, etc. So, I'm going to give my wallpaper in (yes, the one you have seen in my videos).
So, I'll let you all know how it goes, and keep your fingers crossed for me ^·^
