In the past few weeks some really neat little details have been captured on camera by Rich Wurst.  I am introducing you to the interior of the elevator, the restroom tile, and the new glass front doors.  Seeing some of these finishes really makes the whole project come alive for me.  It seems more real than the sketches on paper.  Not as real as the drill outside the office window the other day --- now that was teeth clanking REAL.  All kidding aside, it's so exciting to see the progress and to live through the changes.  I just keep reminding myself, it's temporary.  A season of noise and dirt.  Well worth the result of space to be together to worship and to gather; improved access for all of God's children;   and many other blessings we are yet to realize.  Whether you admire or lament the changes to the church and landscape, quiet your tongue and pray for the wisdom and strength to live hopeful and open-minded as the future unfolds.
