Whats the plural of albatross? Cause Corbett has a bunch of them hanging around his neck and they're looking very putrid at this point in time. I have a very long list of strong objections to Corbett and his endorsed choice for LG Cawley. So far all I'm hearing from the left is non-sensical garbage about the 2005 pay raise and a single pension vote about Rohrer. Corbett is prosecuting people for campaigning out of government offices and he's done it too. Corbett should be indicted, but he hasn't indicted Rohrer. The bad things about Corbett keep coming in, at a point where one needs a score card and material to start writing a book. I love it, Corbett endorses Cawley and now there's yard signs with both their names. Give me a break.

Not new trolls, same trolls different name. Corbett took the 2005 pay raise and Corbett has never complained about the pension increase nor has he talked about solving the PSERs problem that will raise property taxes 25% - 30%. Rohrer didn't take the pay raise, only voted for it to get property taxes eliminated as promised by liar Perzel. Any person would have done it. 6 different votes on the pension plan, Rohrer votes one of the six and Corbett thinks Rohrer is to blame? Rohrer went against Perzel for SOTH and led the charge to eliminate the pay raise to the ire of Perzel and DeWeasel. If all the Corbett campaign has is those 2 things against Rohrer, then Corbett is NOT qualified to even be AG. Also found out today Corbett is for a gas severance tax on the Marcellus shale just like his D buddy Rendell. And I love the "living document" comment from Corbett (progressive code for to hell with the constitution). The "bad" list on Corbett goes on and on, and on, and on,...................

This issue is so old hat already everyone knows that the only reason Mr. Roher went along with this scam by the rest of the legislators is for the mere fact of a fraudulent promise by these same legislators to bring to the floor his school tax elimination bill and I stress "elimination not reduction". How long are the Rhino Repulicans going to ride this PONY just so they can try to spin their way into office again.? I would suggest VOTE for candidate ROHER if you want to have a chance to kept your home in the future!!!!!!! This in my opinion is a no brainer.

Part 3 #2 you will also see a reduction in the cost of providing these same services in a private environment because the unions will have to compete directly with the non union education business to prove their worth to stay in existence. As I see it this will be a win, win for the students who will be graduating with higher test scores graded with no curve and the taxpayers will be relieve of this outrageous tax burden on the education front. Part 2 The Founding Fathers believed government costs should be kept at a minimum to the taxpayers who had to foot the bill and therefore should not have to be a burden to THE TAXPAYER to pay these taxes as they are today for a lot of people in this state and country. These unions are responsible for driving up these costs to the point of taxpayers are now losing their homes because they can no longer meet their tax obligations. In my opinion these same government pigs could care less on how many of their neighbors they put into bankruptcy because of their never ending glutinous greed. I believe that the public schools should be forced back to a private enterprise like they once were and leave them survive off the customer base that will utilize their services and you will see two positive results within a few years and that is #1 you will receive a better end product.

Part 1 FREE REPUBLIC says, Dear Mr. Rendell, I believe it is about time you do a gut check here and stand up for the taxpayers of this state that are totally tap out in this regard and start doing the right thing here and start cutting the operation costs of government and INCLUDING THE LEGISLATORS across the board by 1/3 would be a good starting point the way I see it. It is about time governments throughout this commonwealth stop the CONSTANT GIVEAWAYS AT THE TAXPAYERS EXPENCE to these unions is they don't like the offers that they are receiving from the taxpayers then give them thirty days to sign the contract or hire the non union permanent replacements I do not believe the taxpayer has no further obligation to rehire the union help after a contract and this key word "expires" other than to bargain in good faith. After the final offer is made give the membership thirty days to sign or reject the offer then proceed. Our Founding Fathers in the first place would have not ever allowed the unionization of the government services to begin with.

Everyone in the race at some point takes advice from their party leadership. It is the nature of politics. Rohrer and Corbett in the past have taken the advice and guidance from the Republican party; just as Onorato, Williams, Wagner and the rest of them take advice and guidance from the Democrat party. I don't understand why people are outraged by Corbett taking some advice from the party. I doubt that they wanted him to arrest some of their own party members so I don't think he is a stooge by any means but I do think at times he receives guidance from his party just as any candidate does. Before running for Gov you can be sure Rohrer was guided by the party, as some of his votes suggest. This isn't to excuse the actions of any candidate i just think the party loyalist type of comments are ridiculous and hypocritical. The Party exist for the sole purpose of fund-raising and guiding its members specifically elected officers like Reps, senators, congressman, and even offices like Attorney General.
