The new improvements were well needed as the old Terminal B was dated and lacking many amenities that travelers today desire.  The design, shopping, and ease of access (though you need to take a people mover over to the ‘plane-side’ of the terminal) surely make Sacramento one of the premier airports I have traveled through.  An airport a traveler can be proud of to call home.
