In another Pre-Oscar party Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart show some hugs and kisses. They were gazing at each other without noticing the viewers, it was seemed that they both are in love and they have a sticky attraction for each other.

Earlier this week, Rob (his buzzcut) and Kristen attended the birthday party of actor Scout Taylor-Compton, where they proceeded to cozy up in one of the more natural, simple embraces we've seen between the typically-private pair.

A fellow attendee snapped this photo and posted it on Facebook, giving fans one of their most intimate looks yet at the tandem affectionately referred to as "Robsten." Pattinson and Stewart, meanwhile, are the number-one seed in our couples-based Tournament of THG and have advanced to the quarterfinals as of this posting. Will they finish on top?

The list of Robert Pattinson's co-stars in his upcoming film Bel Ami reads like a who's who of talented, sexy women in Hollywood: Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, and Kristin Scott Thomas all portray a lover of the leading man at some point in the film. So you kinda can't blame the guy for enjoying the cornucopia of steamy scenes he shared with the actresses. RPattz's cheeky response when asked what his favorite was: "Hmm, older women or younger women ... I get my cake and eat it too basically. They both have their good sides." Yow!

So I guess he enjoyed the experience, yes? It could be enough to make a significant other's blood boil with jealousy, but in this case, I don't think we have to worry about Rob's lady love, Kristen Stewart.

KStew is in the biz, too, after all, and shouldn't feel bad about Rob's cheeky comments about the filming of Bel Ami with Ricci, Thurman, and Thomas. In fact, we can safely assume he was still very much a gentleman. The proof is in Ricci's remarks about their steamy on-screen moments. Although she noted that it was a "horror" to get intimate in front of a huge crew, she also said of Rob to Total Film:

Aww, so in other words, he was a complete professional! The fact that he's giving a tip of his hat to his beautiful co-stars is just par for the Hollywood course. Any decent actor would do the same. Sounds like all in all, Rob acted the sexy part he was cast to play and pulled it off in the most upstanding way possible. Leave it to him to do just that!

Robert Pattinson sees new role as 19th century 'reality TV star'

BERLIN - Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson stars as a 19th century Parisian social climber who sleeps his way to the top in Bel Ami, a role he told the Berlin film festival reminded him of today's reality TV stars.

Trading in his brooding vampire for the role of an ambitious bon vivant, Pattinson's character Georges Duroy seduces the most powerful women in the French capital, played by Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Pattinson, greeted by hundreds of screaming fans who waited for hours in the cold to catch a glimpse of him, said Georges was an upstart who knew how to use the media to his advantage. "It's basically like being a reality TV star — he found a loophole in life and is making money by basically doing nothing," he told reporters.

Ricci said the movie's copious love scenes were anything but erotic to make, with the directors Nick Ormerod and Declan Donnellan insisting on historical authenticity. "It was so intimate and romantic with 100 crew members there and no ceiling," the 32-year-old quipped.

"And I was told, 'don't shave your armpits — be accurate'. And then you see it on screen, with your arms raised, in this beautiful lighting — and you're just like 'that was a bad move'. Some accuracy is just not called for."

Pattinson, who was sporting a buzzcut at the festival, said he was ordered not to have a chiselled upper body for the love scenes. "Declan said 'everyone in the 19th century didn't have six packs so don't work out'," he said, referring to the ever-so-slight paunch he took on for the role.

Pattinson, 25, said romancing a string of beauties from teenagers to their mothers had its charms. "Hmmm older women or younger women...I get my cake and eat it too basically. They both have their good sides."

Bel Ami is based on a Guy de Maupassant novel of the same name and sees Georges, a cavalry officer from poor origins living in a cockroach-infested hovel who trades on his good looks and charm to ingratiate himself with high society.

He meets a newspaper editor and his beautiful wife Madeleine (Thurman), who helps him take a job as a reporter by dictating stories to him about the political situation in Morocco, in which France is seeking to boost its interests.

Meanwhile Georges has taken the wife of a wealthy businessman as a lover (Ricci) but when the editor dies, he marries Madeleine. However he is soon put off by her dominance. And when his job at the newspaper looks threatened, he beds the publisher's wife (Scott Thomas), winds up a gossip editor and ends up making a fortune with a subsequent marriage.

Donnellan said the themes of the 1885 novel continued to resonate. "Well, it's about a corrupt government...that seeks to invade an Arab country pretending to be for good reasons and in fact because they want their fingers on the mineral wealth of that country so it's obviously got nothing to do with what's happening today," he joked.

Pattinson said he hoped he could lure many of his Twilight fans to new material like Bel Ami but admitted he was still bewildered by his global fame. "It's been strange having a pretty much single-sex audience all the time but it's been great," he said.

"They've been incredibly loyal. I mean people come from Thailand to stand in the cold air. I can't relate on any level but it's definitely very nice."Bel Ami is screening out of competition at the festival, which will present its Golden Bear top prize Saturday before wrapping up Sunday.

Robert Pattinson Disses Kristen Stewart?

When Robert Pattinson reunites with Kristen Stewart in L.A., he may find he has some serious 'splainin' to do. The Twilight heart-throb accidentally dissed his lady-love by heaping praise upon his "strong" female co-stars in Bel Ami, and gushing about how much he enjoyed working with them.

Poor clueless Robert Pattinson. In an interview at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival, he committed what may prove to be a terrible faux pas. He accidentally dissed his girlfriend and Twilight Saga co-star, Kristen Stewart.

"It's nice having three really incredibly strong actresses," Rob gushed. "They're the strongest women as well, it's kind of [funny] to have to pretend to dominate cause I would never be able to dominate them in real life."

Wow. it's obvious that Rob didn't mean to insult his girlfriend in any way. He no doubt just got caught up in the enthusiasm of dishing about his new film Bel Ami on the BIFF red carpet. In fact, Kristen Stewart's name was never mentioned. Of course, that could be construed as a good thing or bad thing depending on one's point of view. What makes Rob's comment problematic is that by admitting his preference for the "strong women" portrayed by "strong actresses" like his co-stars, Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, and Kristin Scott Thomas, he is relegating Kristen Stewart to the category of a weak, ineffectual non-entity. And although Bella Swan fans will, no doubt, disagree, that description pretty much sums up Twilight's Bella Swan. Furthermore, when Rob dishes on how it's "nice having 3 incredibly strong actresses [who are] the strongest women as well" he's implying that the actresses he's worked with before didn't measure up in that department. And of course, the actress he worked with most often in his career is, of course, Kristen Stewart. Even more bizarre was his comment about pretending to dominate his Bel Ami co-stars onscreen since he knows he could never dominate strong women in real life. Does that mean he dominates KStew in their private life? Rob has been known to provide TMI in interviews. Oops.

Oh well, maybe nothing will happen when Robert Pattinson gets home to L.A. Who knows? Maybe Kristen didn't even watch the interview. In the meantime, what do you think? Did RPattz diss KStew or not?

Robert Pattinson not appearing in Sofia Coppola movie

It was rumoured recently that Robert Pattinson was expected to appear in the latest Sofia Coppola movie, after the two of them were seen together at The Musson & Frank Grill in Hollywood earlier this month. However, Stephen Dorff has revealed that Robert Pattinson is not actually going to appear in the movie after all.

Dorff explained, “I’ve actually got a bit of gossip for you, I don’t think he’s in it. But she did meet with him. She’s my good friend. It was a smaller role of like a club door guy.” Stephen Dorff and Robert Pattinson do have something in common, as they have both played vampires and it seems that Sofia Coppola almost directed one of the Twilight movies.

He added, “I like playing a vampire. I think Sofia almost directed one of the Twilight movies. I love working with her, she’s a great director, she has an original voice. There’s not much originality in the world today so when you get a chance to work with someone like her … I’d love to work with her again.” Robert Pattinson can next be seen on the big screen in Bel Ami, which is set to be released in the US on March 2 and the UK on March 9.

Twilight actor Robert Pattinson has been discussing whether or not he would return to star in any future Twilight movies. Although the Stephenie Meyer Twilight series has come to an end, there has been talk of the possibility of future Twilight books being written and brought to the big screen. So would Robert Pattinson be happy to return to the Twilight franchise?

Pattinson explained, "I would be curious to see what Stephenie Meyer would write. I think I would be too old. It would be interesting though. They would probably re-cast me with one of my competition.” Robert Pattinson then discussed how he did not have to work out and get into shape for his latest role in the movie Bel Ami, which was kind of bitter sweet.

He added, "Everyone in the 1890s didn't have six packs so he told me 'don't work out'. It seems nice until you take your shirt off." Robert Pattinson appears alongside Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas in the Declan Donnellan movie Bel Ami, which is set to be released in the US on March 2 and in the UK on March 9.
