Программа для записи аудио с самых разных источников, снабженная некоторыми функциями аудио-редактирования. Функции редактирования включают разрезку/склейку аудио-дорожек, контроль уровня записи для каждого произведения, различные эффекты – затухание, микширование, «плавные» переходы. Интерфейс программы немного перегружен настройками (большое их количество видно по умолчанию в главном окне), но сделано это из лучших побуждений – не заставлять пользователя делать но 3-4 щелчка мышью для получения доступа к нужной команде.

Это действительно полноценная рабочая студия. Из основных функций отмечу - поддержка неограниченного числа миди и аудиотреков (зависит от производительности системы), поддержка ASIO-драйверов, поддержка Direct-X и VST-плагинов и инструментов, поддержка миди-контроллеров, поддержка рендеринга с функцией рэсемплинга (встроенные алгоритмы), поддержка Rewire для синхронизации с Reason и другими программами. Из нестандартных функций хочу отметить ReaMote - инструмент для синхронизации с другими Reaper-ами по локальной сети. Также есть интересная функция визуализации (можно использовать плагины Winamp). Создание многотомных архивов
Создание многотомных архивов возможно только при работе с архивами формата RAR. Обычно такие архивы используются для разбиения больших сжатых файлов на несколько частей, которые могут быть сохранены на несколько дисков или других носителей данных. Чтобы создать многотомный архив, нажмите обычную кнопку "Добавить". Введите желаемый размер каждой части многотомного архива или выберите автоматический режим. В этом режиме WinRAR определит, что диск, на который сохраняется архив, заполнен и предложит подключить следующий носитель данных. WinRAR создаст несколько томов архива в соответствии с выбранными настройками. Эти архивы могут быть записаны на любой носитель данных.

Как защитить архив паролем?
WinRAR позволяет шифровать данные в архиве, используя 128-битный ключ. Чтобы обеспечить достаточную безопасность, мы рекомендуем использовать пароли, состоящие как минимум из 9 буквенных и цифровых символов. Кратко основной процесс создания portable-программ:
1. Делаем снимок системы до инсталляции.
2. Устанавливаем программу; к ней, если необходимо, патчи, дополнения, кряки (если тебуется перезагрузка, то перезагружаемся).
3. Делаем снимок после инсталляции.
4. Выбираем из полученного списка нужную программу. Далее идет сравнение полученных снимков и автоматическое создание проекта в папке Captures (по умолчанию). Редактируем проект.
5. Жмем Build Now и получаем portable-программу в папке bin.
6. Тестируем полученный результат на его "портативность".

Замечание: Лучше всего создавать portable-программу на "чистой" Windows. Наиболее оптимальный вариант - это установить виртуальную машину (VMware Workstation, Microsoft Virtual PС, Virtual Box или др.), инсталлировать Windows (без дополнительных программ) и работать уже там.
