We all have been plague by the unresponsive HOME button syndrome in some stage of owning an iPhone or iPad. The good news is that we have discovered a simple solution to put an end to this annoying problem!

Follow these simple steps to recalibrate your HOME button in a flash!

• Open a default iOS application, such as Stocks, Calculator, or Weather
  
• Press and hold down the POWER button until the “Slide to Power Off” dialog appears, then release (* do not slide off)
  
• Now press and hold the HOME button until the “Slide to Power Off” screen disappears, force quitting the application
  

And there you have it! This should work like a charm and restoring your HOME button to its former glory. By the way, this fix works on iPods too!

If the above doesn't seem to work, you most probably have a faulty hardware which require replacement.

Recently, many anxious people on 3G networks were locked out from accessing their facebook News Feeds via their iPhone facebook App (no issues some reported issues with Wi-Fi connections as well).

Every countless time I tried stalking my friends feeds, I was greeted with an unwelcoming message, "No Internet Connection Try Again".

As promised, here's a simple solution to getting back on your social network and connected with your friends and loved ones again.

Step 1: Tap on "Account" (circled in red)

Step 2: Tap on "Help Center"

Step 3: Zoom into the top right-hand corner and check the box "Keep me logged in". Type in your email address, password and tap "Login".

Everything should be back to normal again!

If you are accessing facebook via a secured connection, do uncheck "Secure browsing (https)" and hit "Save".

You might also want to try switching off Location Services in your iPhone's settings (SETTINGS, GENERAL, LOCATION SERVICES, FACEBOOK).

If all else fails, try rebooting your iPhone and pray.

If every attempt to revive your connection with facebook fails… guess you'll just have to wait patiently for the next update to fix this bug.

This should work for most people (it worked perfectly for me). If you know of any other methods do share them with us.

eBay has just released official figures relating to a two-week period of iPad 2 activity on their US site.

Not surprisingly (as per previous years data), both the low-end (16GB Wi-Fi only) and high-end (64GB 3G + Wi-Fi) versions were the most popular.

The average selling price for the 16GB WiFi iPad 2 was S$906 on the auctioning site (versus Apple’s retail price of S$649), going all the way up to a S$528 premium on the flagship 64GB 3G model.

A college student who was invited to RIM Social Conference in Toronto and reports that RIM's co-CEO Jim Balsillie announced that BBM will be made available to iOS Phone users on April 26!

Boy Genius Report backs up this rumor and even commented that the BBM app will first be implemented for Android owners before making its way to iOS users. 

Like all rumors, do take this with a pinch of salt. But assuming that this comes true and that BBM is indeed coming to iOS and Andriod, how will we benefit from this implementation? Aren't third-party apps such as Ping! and WhatsApp already providing decent communication support among BB, Andriod and iOS phone users?
