Here is Cthulhu rising from the oceans, using a convenient little island with a tower on it to climb up. The base was cherry-chip cake, the island and tower a mix of cherry chip and yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Also used small chocolate ‘pearls’ as rocks. Cthulhu himself is all fondant, with two chocolate pearls that I seeped in red dye for eyes.

The usual, lazy man’s “V” costume includes a red suit and a pair of big, boxy sunglasses. Cheers to this lady for the extra work on the peeled-away skin revealing the lizardness beneath. I applaud attention to detail.

Of course, I also applaud healthy skin care. But I am as forgiving as I am minty-fresh.

Jude has not only dedicated his blog to Warhammer, but also his body. He’s got several pieces of permanent Warhammer artwork across his frame, including this enormous Warhammer tattoo on his scalp in the form of an Imperial Eagle. (The symbol of the Imperium, don’tcha know.*)

Curiously, Jude also has a tattoo of the symbol of the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars tattooed on his neck… below the hairline. So, if he ever decides to stop attacking his head with an electric razor on a twice-weekly basis, the only ink left showing will be the Star Wars ink.

I’m sure his two youngest kids–Luke and Leia–appreciate the gesture.
