I purchased radiant barrier foil insulation from www.atticfoil.com I can definitely tell a difference on the few hot days we have had so far this year. The website has good pictures and installation tips too.

This unbalanced "reporting" is a travesty to the 51% of Americans who expect a technological solution to the unending liquid fossil fuel availability crisis. 28% of Americans think we can conserve our way out, while 17% think we should drill or mine our way out.

You can read my response as well as those of the 25x'25 organization and the Ethanol Promotion Information Council (EPIC) at http://bioconversion.blogspot.com/2008/04/responses-to-times-unbalanced-biofuels.html

I watched one episode and came away feeling like someone had appeared out of George Orwell's famous "1984" novel. A tad overbearing with messages of how "we" need to change our behavior, would be one way to characterize some of the approach. Changing behavior is a relevant point when it comes to becoming more "green", however the messenger needs to be very clevor in how that point is crafted. By focusing soley on products, technology and services that are green removes the tendency to be preachy. Moreover, by having someone like Ed Begley Jr. center stage, the producers are invariably making a political statement. For green to be universally accepted it must be perceived as A-political.
