Dan Elsworth will be running sessions on prehistoric, Roman, and medieval archaeology at  Kendal Museum  as part of a Local History, Landscape and Archaeology Course run by  Kendal College. The sessions will be held as part of the 'Thursday Night at the Museum' initiative, and begin on the 15th October 2009. Greenlane Archaeology, in conjunction with the  Dock Museum , in Barrow-in-Furness has produced a booklet presenting the results of the excavation of the Barrow Steam Corn Mill, carried out in 2007. Copies can only be purchased directly from the Dock Museum and cost £1.20 (£1.50 including postage) - all proceeds go to the Dock Museum.
