I ordered it off Amazon 7 years ago and outfitted it with some fenders and a cargo rack. The total cost for the bike and accessories was just under $300, so you know this is a cheap bike. For the price, it has been fairly reliable. Aside from quick trips to/from the gym and back, I have taken it on distances as far as 15 – 20 miles. Regarding repairs, I&#39;ve had to replace a few broken spokes in the past, which wasn&#39;t too difficult; I had to learn how to do those repairs myself. The reasons here being:</p><p>1) the bike is cheap, repair costs from a shop would exceed the cost of a replacement bike of this style</p><p>2) when I brought the wheel to a bike shop for advice, they essentially told me to toss the bike and get a better one.</p><p>Now 7 years later the bike has developed a new problem. When I&#39;d pedal, there would be a subtle &#39;thunk&#39; in the crank area every revolution. In this garden I once attended to I used some smaller diameter pipe to act as a stake to allow the longer and wider diameter pipe to stand upright. V-belt and, as noted on the label, they are 38&quot; long.  These belts were actually too wide for the pulley that came stocked on the motors, but I couldn&#39;t find anything smaller.<br></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; a threaded locking mechanism, a slotted body, and insulated piece to house four spring-loaded brass contact pins, and the pins themselves.  Then on top of this, figuring out how it will connect to the tonearm and wiring it.<br></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; which is applicable to radially symmetric parts like this.  This was my first time trying this, and I had relatively favorable results.<br></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="490" data-original-width="1116" height="176" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgikzIaBw0tj_fHcWZ9JNrGReSzTDA90ZLtxiuhZGvNnbsa535pPYHLaH_rUtxYrDW4saMF6CEK9813rEjz-oteBU2KxrpQzq4G8er2FKteAyF69abO6QSeJjW50bPylQsTW-CqREW3eMA/w400-h176/001PlatterSection.jpg" width="400"></div><p>The sweep pattern is basically a cross section of the part being casted, which is swept around a central axis to remove pre-rammed sand layer by layer.  Think of it like those <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Center_pivot_irrigation">center pivot irrigation</a> systems, except instead of watering crops, we&#39;re removing sand to create a mold cavity.</p><p>This has the advantage of saving time since I didn&#39;t have to make an entire wooden replica of the turntable platter.  I began by transposing the final dimensions of the platter, plus shrinkage allowance, into a flat piece of plate.  Pardon the atrocious blueprints </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;
