Burger King Secret yields $2 Triple Whopper with Cheese!

Mark this one under, Liv is a fatty.... a genius fatty, but a fatty none-the-less.

Some people just love Whoppers. Shannon and her family have some internal genetic need for Whoppers, and more than a few family stories have come from within the walls of a Burger King. In fact, I think the first meal Shannon's father ever took me out to, after we (me and Shan, not me and Dad... cuz that's er weird.) began dating, was, Burger King.

So fast forward to 2009. Everyone is out of work, food is expensive, and Burger King is offering their Double Cheeseburgers for .99, right? "Rubbish" you say! "I don't want no double cheeseburger, I want a Whopper." I want it with cheese, and lettuce, and tomatoes.... and since I'm special, I always want mustard. But you can't afford it. They're $2.99 and you have only $2.00 and that left-over £5 note from your last vacation to Europe.... I suppose you could bargain with the order taker... hope they're planning a vacation? Other wise you're going to have to resort to my Ghetto Triple Whopper...

...and what's more, it tastes better than a "original" Whopper. It's never going to be quite as good as a McDonald's quasi Big Boy but if you like Whoppers, and are really, really hungry... then this is the ticket.

WASHPOSTBut, as with a similar rally by Democrats a week before, unpredictable things tend to happen in the wide-open spaces of the Capitol's West Front. Minutes into the rally, a breeze toppled the American flag from the stage.

More ominously, a man standing just beyond the TV cameras apparently suffered a heart attack 20 minutes after event began. Medical personnel from the Capitol physician's office -- an entity that could, quite accurately, be labeled government-run health care -- rushed over, attaching electrodes to his chest and giving him oxygen and an IV drip.

This turned into an unwanted visual for the speakers, as a D.C. ambulance and firetruck, lights flashing, pulled in just behind the lawmakers. A path was made through the media section, and the patient, attended to by about 10 government medical personnel, was being wheeled away on a stretcher just as House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) stepped to the microphone. "Join us in defeating Pelosi care!" he exhorted. A few members stole a glance at the stretcher. Boehner may have been distracted as well. He told the crowd he would read from the Constitution, then read the "we hold these truths" bit from the Declaration of Independence.

As you'd expect at a political protest, the messages on signs and buttons were provocative: "Waterboard Congress," "A Commie Is in the House."

But this protest was unusual because it was an official House GOP event, and because some of the remarks on the stage were as outrageous as those in the crowd. The actor Jon Voight, standing with the lawmakers, said of Obama: "Could it be he has had 20 years of subconscious programming by Reverend Wright to damn America?"

By the time it was over, medics had administered government-run health care to at least five people in the crowd who were stricken as they denounced government-run health care. But Bachmann overlooked this irony as she said farewell to her recruits.

"You," she said, "are the most beautiful sight any of us freedom fighters have seen for a long time."

Oh and in another ironic moment, Rep. Todd Akin called for the Pledge of Allegiance because "it drives the liberals crazy" to hear it and then flubbed it.

It has been documented that the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center has told women that abortion causes breast cancer.

The Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center is a lie. It and its entire purpose are to deceive women about their reproductive options.

They are not medical clinics and are not staffed by medical personnel. cite

Apparently, the X-right have created Hollywood sets near local campuses to resemble the set of House or ER and convince unaware pregnant student mothers that their only option involves one without true medical advice, and without an option for pregnancy termination via abortion or pill.

I love their website with the heartbeat in the background and the title:

For over a year now I have been telling anyone who will listen that Barack Obama is a wicked, dangerous man. Unfortunately, those warnings have often fallen on deaf ears, or been met with anger and incredulity. The need to assuage white guilt in this country has, to this point, far outweighed the desire to hear and speak the truth in regard to this man and his agenda.

There have also been those who decry my efforts claiming that they fall beyond the prevue of my responsibilities as a herald of the gospel. I respectfully disagree. With the “Hate Crimes Bill” looming on the horizon (to which Obama refers in this video), heralds of the gospel will be faced with a choice to obey God and proclaim the truth of the gospel without fear, or bow to the homosexual lobby and embrace the Sodomization of America. As I read the Scriptures, I see no option other than exposing this evil. As Paul states:

“But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light.” (Ephesians 5:3–14 ESV)

Make no mistake about it. The appointment of Kevin Jennings is no accident. Obama knew exactly whom he was appointing as “Safe Schools Czar.” The president was present at Jennings’s home for a fundraiser during his candidacy, and the homosexual community lauded his “candor as well as his fluency with LGBT issues.” (see here)

The president recently gave a speech at the a Human Rights Campaign banquet (click here for the first of three parts) where he promised the homosexual community everything they want (in spite of the fact that it is a litany of what God calls evil). In his speech, he acknowledges and normalizes the homosexual lifestyle, promotes homosexual marriage, opens the door for ENDA, promises an end to don’t ask don’t tell, invokes the memory of Ted (chappaquiddick) Kennedy, and revives the Matthew Shepherd myth. He’s coming with both barrels, and we must not be caught flat-footed.

First, the president intends to use the full force of the law (Hate Crimes) to coerce Americans into embracing all forms of sexual deviance (on threat of imprisonment). Second, he intends to take advantage of the fact that the overwhelming majority of those who claim to disagree with him send their children to government-run indoctrination centers where the likes of Kevin Jennings will bombard them with the pro-homosexual worldview. This, of course, will contribute to the increased prominence of the pro-homosexual worldview. President Obama knows what others have known for years:
"When an opponent declares, 'I will not come over to your side.' I calmly say, 'Your child belongs to us already…What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.'" (Adolph HItler)

Of course, Hitler was not referring to the pro-homosexual worldview (though the Third Reich was rife with homosexuality). Nevertheless, the principle was the same. Whoever controls the schools controls the future. Therefore, if you want to know what president Obama envisions for America’s future, look no further than Kevin Jennings.

So what do we do? Here are a few things (in no particular order). First, remove your children from the government school system immediately (i’m sure that one came as a complete surprise). Second, if you are a homeowner (living in a state that extorts your school contribution through your property taxes), and have not done so, challenge the appraisal of your property. A reduction in the taxable value of your home will lead to a reduction in income for the school system and precipitate the system’s demise. Third, oppose educational bond elections. This is the school district’s way of extracting extra money from the public. Fourth, discover and expose homosexual clubs in your local schools (virtually every district in America has them thanks to Jennings’s work at GLSEN). This will hopefully lead to more people starting with step one. However, don’t get your hopes up... I’ve been doing this for years and Christians simply shrug and give the automated, “Our schools are different” response. Fourth, equip yourself in order to be ready to give a winsome, biblical, logical answer for what you believe about this issue. Fifth, equip your children so that they will be able to do the same and engage the culture with confidence. Sixth, engage in discussions about this issue. Last, and definitely not least, pray . Pray for Kevin Jennings and Barack Obama: Pray that God will convict them of their sin and call them to repentance and faith.

I’m sure there is more we can do. However, I offer this list as a starting point. Start your own list if you’d like. Just stand up and live as the “Salt and Light” we know we are (Matthew 5:13-16).
