Egad! I have lost an entire day. Has that ever happened to you? You have things planned ahead of time (like blog posts) and then, before you notice, the day is gone and you realize you are late. So lets just pretend this posted on Tuesday ok! :)
This card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #103. I used PriscillaStyles Flower Trio image for my card (as you can see I only used one of the trio!)
I layered K&Company paper, used 3 ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon and one sweet flower from Wild Orchids Crafts and voila; done deal. Well of course I had to add sparkle, that is just the kind of girl I am.

Today I have another new image to share from PriscillaStyles Store! This is called "Ballerina Resting" and it so gorgeous! I cropped the wall and the flowering vines out to accommodate this weeks Midnight Madness sketch but I still think the image is gorgeous.
I have seen other artists separate their images into different sections and loved the way it looked. I was quite happy with the result.
I actually recycled a label to make the background. I ordered some paper from The Paper Temptress and the label had a beautiful black swirl background. After some cropping, it made a great background for my ballerina! If anyone knows who makes this die, let me know!

With Easter just around the corner, Priscilla over at PriscillaStyles has created with darling Easter bunny! I love the patchwork feel to the image and had a blast coloring it with my Promarkers.
I popped up the flower with dimensionals and added some stickles for bling. The flowers are from my fave flower shop, Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon of the month club!
I used the new Midnight Madness sketch this week for inspiration!

Good morning everyone! Long time no post, eh. It has been a long time since I have had a chance to sit down and make a card but I finally finished one and want to share it with you today. Today is my first card for the new term with Priscilla Styles Store Design team.
This card features the Sweet Pea image from Priscilla Styles. I colored the image with my Promarkers, popped up a few of the flowers and distressed the edges. I used this weeks Midnight Madness Sketch, MMSC98.

This super gorgeous butterfly is a digi image from PriscillaStyles Store.
I colored the image with my Promarkers and accented some of the sections with Stickles. I cute the image out and popped it up with Dimensionals from Stampin' UP!
The antennae were made by curling wire and securing with Glue Dots.
I used DCWV cardstock and My Minds Eye DP from the Bohemia collection. Ribbon is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon of the month club!

Hello everyone! My has January flown by. I am so far behind on my posts this month because I haven't been feeling well. My apologies to all :)

Today I want to share two new Valentine images by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. My first card uses Peek-A-Boo Ridley. I have colored him using my new Promarkers. I am still practicing! The papers are Basic Grey Lime Ricky .My second card shows the ever adorable, Cupid Ridley. I used a gorgeous Lustre paper from the Paper Temptress to make the frame and border (Spellbinders) My patterned papers are a mixture of Scenic Route and Basic Grey. Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon of the month club!

This week at the Pixie Cottage we are celebrating love! As always, we also have a sketch to play with and you can choose to use both theme and sketch or choose one.

My project this week was this fun box! I took an unfinished wood box, inked the edges, layered papers and then finished it off with Modge Podge and lots of flowers. Once dry I cut out my water colored bunny and was done! I think nothing says I love you like a beautiful bunch of flowers!

I can't wait to see what you enter in the Pixie Cottage Challenge this week!

Holiday Sparkle and Shine

Today at the Pixie Cottage we have a new challenge for you. We want to see your Sparkle and Shine...pretty easy during the holiday season don't you think! We also have an awesome sketch for you to try so make sure to check it out on the Pixie Cottage blog.

This week I used the gorgeous new Hannah stamp by Sandra Hammer. This cutie is called Hannah with Candle. For my sparkle and shine I used Gemstones Cardstock with a pretty pearl shine and several rhinestones from my local craft store. I decorated Hannahs hat and dress trim with stickles and added glitter to the star too. Polar white flower soft finishes the card with some shimmering snow.
I can't wait to see what you create!

Wowzers, it has been one crazy week here. We have had windstorms (plural), snowstorms, 10 degree temps and many, many hours without power. I actually colored this image by candlelight! Now things are getting back to normal and I am hoping for a very uneventful holiday!
This little cutie is a brand new Hannah stamp by Sandra Hammer! Isn't she adorable. It really reminds me of my kids sending their letters to Santa. You can find Hannah and many more adorable images at The Pixie Cottage.

This actually wasn't the card I was supposed to post today but we had a little accident between the card and my daughters root beer :) Luckily I had this image colored up for a beginners Copic class so it the disaster was quickly avoided! I am so excited to share this special release from Digital Delights! One of Wendy's customers requested some angel images and Wendy did not disappoint! I think she is just the sweetest image!

I paired her with some wonderful paper from Making Memories and gorgeous cardstock from the Paper Temptress. This mica/metallic is one of the prettiest shades of ice blue I have seen.

I wanted to share this cute new digi from the PriscillaStyles Store with you. This cute tree was printed out in two sizes and then paper pieced with 3 different green papers. I finished off the card with this gorgeous red ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Club and some pearls I found at my local craft store for only $1! Can't beat that!

It's Once Upon a Wednesday at the Pixie Cottage and we have a brand new challenge for you. This week we have a great sketch by the lovely Penny from Busch Creations! Our theme this week is METAL!
