This is the first time we had a photographer covering us in a shoot. Not to cover the bridal party or the event, but, to cover us, the GregsVideo team! …. filming and creating this special Twilight wedding video. Here are some of the behind the scenes photos…

The scene at the workshop! Its a massive workshop, and its really dangerous doing the shoot in here! If you slip and fall, it will be disastrous! No mistakes can happen, and every steps I make, has to be precise and carefully studied before making it, as my filming involved me walking from one end to the other.

How dangerous it is…. the shots are important to us and has to be filmed by all means!

If you have thought our job to filmed a good wedding video is easy, think again! The kind of manpower being used here, the kind of equipments, the research, the ideas, the planning, conceptualizing the entire feel and storyline of the video, the skills, the shoot, the lighting, the cabling, the right attitude, the experience, the strength, the preparation, the editing process, the mixing of audio/music, etc etc etc….. and most importantly…the Passion!

The Twilight Wedding. Are you afraid?

This is a special edition highlight video that we have created for Adrian & Racheal, who had their blissful wedding in March earlier this year, in Melbourne Australia.

The couple had their tea ceremony session here in Malaysia on the 4th of July. And, this video shows both the Church wedding & the Chinese customary tea ceremony session with the theme ‘Twilight’

They also had a reception for the friends and family here on 5th of July with some 500 guests, and this exact highlight video was premiered for the first time live in Centro Ballroom.

July Blockbuster! ‘Heaven Sent!’

Heaven Sent…was the exact same words uttered by the groom, Raja! He said to me that day, in my showroom, “Heh, Greg! This girl, Malar, that I m marrying to, is heaven sent!”

Raja & Malar, were both solemnized at the Sri Sundararaja Perumal Devasthanam Temple on 3rd. July 2009, in Klang, Selangor.This is the highlights video of the their Hindu wedding ceremony, that was edited and put together on the same day of their wedding, and was premiered live in PJ Hilton at the reception.

It’s a tough edit though, as, both the location of the shoots and the location of the hotel for us to do the edit were far apart, and both places are at high traffic zones!But, nevertheless, with hard work and determination from the entire crew, and when all team members playing their own role, we managed to successfully make it happen once again!

Twilight Wedding video, is a special edition video, starring Adrian & Racheal, from the Melbourne Wedding video couple, will be premiering live tonight, 5th. July, in Centro Ballroom, located in Klang Town.

The couple had a small tea ceremony session with both sets of the family members here in Malaysia yesterday, and a reception have been organised tonight for their friends and relatives in Malaysia.

Used Vs. Loved

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the
child’s hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench..
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple
fractures. When the child saw his father…..with painful eyes he asked,
‘Dad when will my fingers grow back?’ The man was so hurt and
speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
Devastated by his own actions……sitting in front of that car he
looked at the scratches; the child had written ‘LOVE YOU DAD’.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .

Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful,
lovely life….. Things are to be used and people are to be loved,
But the problem in today’s world is that, People are used and things are
loved… During this year, let’s be careful to keep this thought in
mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved … Be
yourself….

Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become
actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits they
become character; Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

Ponder it and remember!

When we first approached Greg for his services, I was in no doubt as to his videography skills as well as the quality of his final products. Samples of his work, including a wedding of a close friend, were enough to convince me of his abilities. But like every couple in the midst of planning a wedding, our main concern was, will he and his team be able to make our wedding unique? Will his overall summary of events able to capture who we are as individuals and as a couple? Would he be able to capture the essence of all ceremonies? etc etc. Needless to say, Greg and his team went beyond expectations. We’ve only seen our wedding highlights video thus far. While we were mesmerized as to its absolute perfection, the rest of our guests have been dumbfounded themselves. We’re now counting the hours till we get to see the next set of highlights - our dinner reception, followed by the overall wedding video. And once again, its an anticipation of not how unique it is to be, but how much beyond perfection his work could possibly reach!

Thanks to Greg and his team for making this our best wedding investment.

Balbir & Sharuna.

A Punjabi+Sindhi wedding! Balbir & Sharuna 6.6.09//Highlights Video

This is another extremely fun filled wedding. We are just so blessed to be part of this wedding of Balbir & Sharuna. Balbir a punjabi, from Ipoh, and Sharuna a sindhi, born in spain now living in Mexico, were solemnised on the 6th of June, in a Gurdwara in Greentown.

Both the groom & the bride, had their Sangeet celebrations on 2 separate days before the punjabi wedding ceremony. The next day after their wedding, a reception was held in Impiana Casuarina hotel for their friends and families where this video was premiered for the first time to some 350 guests from at least 14 different countries around the world!

We really enjoyed ourselves every bits of it, attended both the Sangeets, an eye opening for us, as its our first Sindhi Sangeet experience.

Our heartfelt thanks to both the couple and their family members, wonderful people, thanks a lot for your hospitality throughout our 5 days stay here in Ipoh! Hope you have enjoyed our presence as well, and the whole GregsVideo experience.
