After exhaustive reviews of the release catalogues from many classic Brazilian extreme metal bands, including Sarcófago, Holocausto, Mutilator, Vulcano, and Sextrash, the Florida-based label now turns its eye into one of the most extreme, dark, and mythical bands in Brazil’s rich and diverse metal landscape.

Into the Ritual Chamber was IMPURITY’s second album and was originally released in 1996 by Cogumelo Records on CD only. Despite being released only in Brazil, over the years the album found its way to all corners of the world, captivating maniacs with its doomy, Black Metal assault.

Thematically, Into the Ritual Chamber is certainly a departure from typical Black Metal. Its focus lies entirely on a Latin American mystical journey, delving deep into the entrails of the “Cerro Rico” mountain of Bolivia, where, in the Sixteenth Century, seemingly endless amounts of silver were collected, and where throes of natives perished in the attempt to collect the precious metal. Enslaved by Spanish colonizers, the mine workers would seek protection from the devil, rather than submitting to Christian conversion.

This unique saga is tempered with IMPURITY’s signature maniacal Black Metal, which is felt the album over.

In celebration of the album’s magnitude and power, Greyhaze Records presents Into the Ritual Chamber in a carefully restored from original master tapes remaster, housed in a lavish package, including a gatefold sleeve, double insert and poster. The album is also presented as a 7-panel J-card cassette and CD, which inlcudes bonus tracks.

Stomachal Corrosion – Self-titled CD coming on October 11

After a 13-year hiatus, Brazilian Death Grinders Stomachal Corrosion have returned with a new self-titled album! Stomachal Corrosion was originally released in Brazil by Cogumelo Records. The album brings forth 21 tracks based on a subjective, sick idea that is fully described in the album’s artwork. Stomachal Corrosion’s sound follows its own, original style, which has been developed and built upon over the band’s 27-year existence and forged grindcore, crust and 90s Death Metal.

Sarcofago Crust – Vinyl and Cassette coming soon!

Greyhaze Records, as part of its exhaustive, review of Sarcófago’s entire recorded output, is proud to reissue Crust, a highly sought-after extreme metal gem, on vinyl and cassette formats. The album’s audio has been carefully sourced from original master tapes and all artwork has been restored honoring this EP’s great importance. The Crust reissue will be released June 14, 2019 on Greyhaze Records.

About Crust

Four years after the release of their 5th LP, The Worst, in 1996, Sarcófago once again entered the studio. This time, though, to record an EP. With only four tracks and clocking in at a little over 11 minutes, Crust went on to become one of the band’s most extreme and sought after releases. This release would also go on to be the band’s last, as soon after the end of the recordings the band officially disbanded. After many years of never giving in to any musical trend, Sarcófago bowed out leaving one of the most significant legacies in all of metal having influenced a plethora of bands including stalwarts such as Mayhem, Beherit, Darkthrone, and so many more.

Crust is arguably one of Sarcófago’s finest moments. Reduced to a duo of Wagner (Antichrist) Lamounier and Gerald (incubus) Minelli, Sarcófago created four short, and unbelievably violent tracks with an overall theme that foreshadowed the very end of black and death metal as it was known at the time. This notion was sadly to be realized as the first decade of the millennium saw the emergence of ever more sterilized, sanitized, and empty heavy music.

Brazilian Metal Veterans DROWNED Releasing New Album ‘7th’ on June 15!

7th is the new album by Brazilian Heavy/Thrash/Death Metal band DROWNED and will be released on June 15 via Greyhaze Records, under license from Brazil’s Cogumelo Records. Two new singles from the album are now available. Stream ’em both below!

The band’s almost 20-year career is synthesized on the album’s 11 tracks, which showcase a varied and unique style of Heavy Metal that recalls the different styles of bands like Amorphis, Nevermore, Anthrax and Bolt Thrower.

On 7th, which as the title implies is the band’s seventh release, DROWNED seeks new horizons, while preserving and refining the band’s most treasured musical essence of traditional Heavy Metal songs built into a Death/Thrash Metal twin-guitar attack! The musical onslaught serves as backdrop to lyrics that lay bare thoughts of sickened and deranged visions, injustice and gratuitous violence. In other words: notions that are unfortunately a reality of life in South America’s biggest nation.

Deiphago/Amputator Vinyl Split Release Arriving April 13

War Metal misanthropes Ampütator join forces with Philipino bestial horde Deiphago to unleash carbonizing hellfire via this long-awaited self-titled split vinyl EP. Scheduled for release April 13 on Florida’s Greyhaze Records with the support of Darkness Attack Records, the album showcases both bands at their most barbaric and raw moments.

Deiphago contributes three crude renderings of songs of their demo Lucifer Alpha Omega. That demo contained songs that would eventually make their way into the band’s full-length Satan Alpha Omega. Ampütator, in turn, brings two previously unreleased tracks following the band’s previous offerings of absolutely misanthropic, unapologetic and deafening noise. As is common with Greyhaze Records releases, all tracks are mastered for pristine clarity and power, while at the same time carefully honoring their original dynamics and savagery. The EP includes an over-sized poster.
