Whoa. Hey guys. It's been a minute.

The GCA has fallen by the wayside the past couple of years, as you've probably noticed. Dan, Sias and I all got (and continue to be) too busy to keep up with everything going on in SLC.

Luckily for you guys there's a new site run by dedicated people to keep you all in the loop. They've even got a nifty little group text feature to keep you updated on shows—something that we never even thought of over here.

Head over and give them your support.

Also, and brace yourselves here—

There is a message board.

My, oh my, what fun they're in for.

But seriously, head over and check it out. They're doing some great stuff there and everyone that still wants a hardcore scene—or hell, even a local music scene—should be supporting this site.

Austin Chirillo has a new show on UtahFM.org airing the fourth Saturday of every month from 10:30 AM to noon.

While not promising a full hour and half block of straight hardcore, the man does have good taste in music so be sure to tune in and check it out. The first show starts tomorrow, so dial in (or log on, I guess would be the phrase to use here) and support him and UtahFM.org for being kind enough to try something a little different.

Salt Lake City's Reviver will be heading to Chicago at the end of this month to record their forthcoming record and will be playing a handful of shows along the way. Album title and label have not been announced.

Our good friend Andy Carter dusted off a couple of old videos and sent them my way recently. Granted, they've been sitting on my desktop for the past couple of weeks, but I finally got them loaded up on the Internets for everyone else to see.

Pretty sure these are from the Aftermath CD Release show back in 2005, but I could be mistaken. And be warned, the sound quality on the Gutshot video is awful. But don't worry, it's the fault of Andy's camera, not the band.
