Meeting you, lusting, convincing, kissing, deerfield beach, dating freshman, sophomore, junior and your senior year, photo shoots, getting soaked, tower of cups, v202, my rms hating you then loving you, my friends becoming your friends, my friends and family raving about how awesome you are, how awesome you are, marker fun, belly piercing, micanopy, boca, chicago, new york city, orlando, portland, san francisco, drinking at al’s, your pose face, undie runs, drinking at bernies, project 365s, swimming, getting dragged to the beach, daisy, teeth brushing reminders, your hair, helping you get your first job, teaching you photography, showing you new music, mexico, monkeys, tigers licking your toes, go karting, pink wigs, you getting dressed up, looking stunning, cirque du soleil, the way my family asks about you, supporting me, loving me, helping me, being patient, growing up together, hand writing podbop business cards, dragging me off the computer, telling me everything will be okay, eating chick-fil-a in your car, buying each other ipods and iphones, becoming vegan together, watching you cry about ned because i wasn’t ready to, making me get contacts, modeling hypem merch, being the chime.tv girl, watching you learn how to cook, eating deliciously, peanut butter pie, ducky, and being eager to see what you do with all that potential.

On the surface 2009 has been shitty. So far I’ve lost three of my favorite people in the world: Chirag (a friend since 2001), David died (my friend and massage therapist since 2006), and now Kaela (my girlfriend since 2005).

I was going to try and write something about what I’ve learned about love, friends, life, dependance and trust but I really have no idea what I’m learning from all this except that continuing to travel makes me happy.

My sister lived in Mexico for 6 years (she’s in Gainesville now) and keeps me up to date on the web lingo over there. I already knew jajajaja = hahaha and tqm = i love you, but she’s alerted me to a new development.

Sad that there was no real LOL equivalent, they now use CMC (which translates to Casi Me Cago, or almost shit myself).

My stepdad grew up sailing around the world and Suzy lived on their house boat helping to raise him and his brothers when she was 18 to 21 yrs old. He hasn’t seen her in 30 years but they stay in touch and I used my time in south France as an opportunity to visit.

She was one of the highlights of my trip, with infectious delight we devoured pizza (i cheated), drank wine in the garden, and finally watched Some Like It Hot (5 stars). She’s invited me back anytime and I intend to take her up on that offer!
