A got myself a new Six. I couldn't decide between this Minty nickel 19-3 4" or a 2.75" Ruger Speed Six. I have a weakness for Ruger Six series guns and K frame Smiths. The Smith would get shot once then become a safe queen and the Speed six would be carried a lot!!!

I asked Redhawk41mag for his advice and told me to get the Speed Six. Surprise surprise :D

Unfortunately, the original grips are absent and it came with these horrible pachmayr presentation things (which are actually for a Security Six).

I ordered some Hogue Exotic Hardwood grips in Kingswood. When they arrived this baby met up with some Flitz and my Polishing rag.

When I brought her home:

Now:
Three hours of Flitz and an abrasive cloth can do wonders!

And a close up if the Kingswood Grips:

I have a vintage Weaver 400 scope that is maxed out to the right. How do I reset it so I can have more room to adjust the windage so I can bring the impact more to the left? It currently shoots about 3 feet to the right at 50 yards.

I ordered two of these last night. One for a "J" frame Smith and the other for the G27. The "J" one is out of stock. I told them if they want to hold the other until they get the J frame one that's fine. So it might be a short time getting them.
A guy in Texas posted on another forum that they aren't legal in TX.TX requires it to be concealed. Now I'm wondering what states they are and aren't legal in.

When we took our NC class we were told you can carry your gun anywhere in your vehicle when we get our permits.

I mentioned generators in the survival foods thread, I am fond of the Honda generators but I am looking for a small easily portable generator for transporting to and from the farm, I'm looking at the Honda EU2000I and was wondering if anyone hereabouts has had experience with this set? I like the miserly fuel consumption, light weight and low db's and think this might be the ticket for running tools off of a 4 wheeler, fixing fences and the like.

Any shared experience with this smaller set would be appreciated.
