What do I need to look for?

Do all Contender frames work with all the different barrels?

Are only some barrels tapped and drilled for scopes or do they make scope mounts for most barrels?

According to Ruger Forum posts and links, the SR22 has been discontinued. It's not on the Ruger website, one post relates the discontinued info straight from a call with Customer Service, looking for parts. Ruger no longer had them all, CS sent member what they did have free.
This fits with why I bought two of guns I really like (shown in my signature), and a parts stash for all my guns. I bought my second SR a week after range trip with first. Great plinker, not bad on targets. Eats most...
