M16 vs AK-47

The AK-47 has such a colorful history, to tell you the full story would require a novel and I don't have that kind of time. Same goes for the M-16, both have wonderful story's and many, many wars fought. Some against each other.
Lets first look at the Russian made Automat Kalashnikov 47.
The name:
1.Automat: means automatic (go figure)
2.Kalashnikov: the name of the creator/designer Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov
3.47: first finished product created in 1947

Ok, I couldnt stay way from that topic for one reason...im in the war right now. Not to mention I almost got an assault charge last time I came home from Iraq when someone wanted to tell me I was a pawn guilty of my masters sins...thats a whole other story.

First off, if you are one of those "The NRA can do no wrong" people then I suggest you sit this one out.
Second, if you are going to get offended...Fuck You, this is my blog. Write me a little hate comment cheif!!!
So there I am surfing the news section off a random site(random sites, best way to get more then one veiw point) and I come across this gem peice of fine reporting on the people and ideas of the NRA. So I decide this would make a perfect subject for my blog since I love bitching about shit anyway.

This Handgun has so much in comman with the Glock that you might as well say "screw the $1499 it would cost to buy this one" and go for the all ready proven Glock
A company called CCF Raceframes has been producing frames since 2003. They can be used to replace the frames on popular Glock models including full-size models in 9mm, .40 S&W and .357 Sig. Since legally the frame is the firearm, they are individually serial numbered and the same rules for transferring any handgun apply.

So I was reminded of an unpleasent situation that happened alittle while ago in the great state of Michigan. It was after my first deployment to Iraq. I came home to being 21 for the first time in the United States. So what would any self respecting 21 yr old do? I BOUGHT ALCOHOL!!! Ok, now remembering that this is MY BLOG and I can and will write anything in it, I will not mind comments because I know imma get some. Dont bother keeping it clean, im not.
Now with that said, I have been noticing alot of different views on the war, the military, the government, life and everything in general. I understand that everyone has there own opinions and they are intitled to them...well this ones mine.

Imagine a gun with no recoil, no sound, no heat, no gunpowder, no visible firing signature (muzzle flash), and no stoppages or jams of any kind. Now imagine that this gun could fire .308 caliber and .50 caliber metal projectiles accurately at up to 8,000 fps (feet-per-second), featured an infinitely variable/programmable cyclic rate-of-fire (as high as 120,000 rounds-per-minute), and were capable of laying down a 360-degree field of fire. What if you could mount this weapon on any military Humvee?
