Search Anything dashboard widget allows you to setup a specific search for any site.

If you are like me, you like for everything to be at your fingertips. While coding web sites I often need to check multiple references and having to open the browser and search each time takes way too much time. That is why I created this dynamic search widget, which allows you to search within any site you wish.

You can use multiple widgets at once and customize each with different color and title.

Designing the site I wanted for the most important information to stand out – address and working hours, that is why I featured them on the side of every page and implemented google maps for better user experience. The site is based on WordPress content management system.

The Expression Engine widget needed a small update — ability to choose between the 1.6 documentation and 2.0 beta documentation. So, as requested, here it is. Enjoy.

I made the first design proposal, but they never got back to me. Instead, they did a small redesign themselves. The problem is that they didn’t fix the problems – they only changed a few colors, which made the redesign almost completely worthless.

Here is my proposal. It’s just the first draft, which still needs a lot of work, but the main layout would stay the same.

MD5 is a widely used cryptographic hash function with a 128-bit hash value.

I am aware that there are MD5 generators already available, but the problem with them is that they look terrible and aren’t easy to use.

With my generator once you press Go the widget automatically generates MD5 hash from the given string and copies it to your clipboard, so you can use it instantly.

A few days ago I discovered the world of ExpressionEngine and already I have fallen in love with it. I wanted to have a quick access to the EE documentation, so I did a search on apple site for widgets and realized that there aren’t any. So, I had to make one.

Nothing fancy, but it does the job. I hope you’ll find it useful.

Just 1 month after launching the first version of my web site I realized that it wasn’t working out the way I hoped it would. My main goal first designing my blog/portfolio was simplicity and usability, however it was not accomplished first time around, due lack of white space, colors and readability and that’s why this time I paid more attention to them.

I improved the usability for portfolio by making it completely separate from the blog and making the preview images very clear. I also improved the contact form for making it easy to get started with a project and requesting a proposal.

So, this is the result. I hope you’ll enjoy and I would love to hear your feedback.

Web page was designed by Brandbox managing director Eric Schultz and my job was to develop front-end and back-end for the site, which is built on a custom CodeIgniter CMS. One of the most interesting features is the design gallery, which uses JavaScript.
