The Junior League of Atlanta’s Tour of Kitchens is Coming in March

The 15^th Annual Junior League of Atlanta Tour of Kitchens is set to take place March 24-25, 2012. The event has become a spring tradition that so many Atlantans look forward to each year, as it always provides inspiring kitchen design ideas.

Tours will take place between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 24^th and between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 25^th. Fourteen stunning kitchens created by some of Atlanta’s top designers will be showcased during the two days of tours. General admission tickets are $25 per person

Additionally, we will be hosting the 2012 Toast of the Tour on Friday, March 23^rd here in the Guy T. Gunter & Associates showroom, beginning at 7 p.m.! Tickets for the Toast of the Tour are $50 per person and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, Barefoot Wine, beer, dessert, chef demonstrations from Chef Linton Hopkins, Mixologist Jeff Jackson, and Chef Phillipe Haddad, as well as a night of dancing to the music of Yacht Rock.

Tickets for the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival Go on Sale February 14th

Something exciting will be cooking in midtown Atlanta from May 10^th through the 13^th. The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival will bring together master Sommeliers, BBQ pit bosses, local growers and award winning chefs and bakers from all over the South to showcase their talents and preserve Southern food traditions.

The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival will feature over 200 tasting stations providing sustenance while you enjoy cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, tasting seminars featuring some of today’s giants in the industry along with interactive demonstrations.

Tasting tents and food carts will offer diverse selections from handcrafted beer and wine, Cajun treats, Barbeque, Southern snacks, Gulf Coast seafood, peanut dishes from Georgia and even designer cupcakes!

Oysterfest 2012 is Coming Up on February 11th

Do you enjoy oysters? If so, you’ll want to make plans to attend the 2012 Atlanta Oysterfest, which takes place on February 11^th at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. The day is sure to be filled with great live music from local bands, cold drinks, and, of course, tons of oysters, crackers, and cocktail sauce!

Whether you like them fresh and raw, steamed, or fried, Oysterfest will have enough oysters to fill you up. Oysterfest features fresh raw oysters flown in from Connecticut and steamed and fried oysters from the Texas coast!

As Oysterfest sold out last year, you’ll want to get your tickets as soon as you can. Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be purchased through Xorbia. Take note that prices will increase as Oysterfest 2012 draws closer.
