The fishing has been superb. Great willow grubbing despite a lack of activity on Friday as the fish resettled into the new river height. The past 48 hours though have been insanely good. I have a couple of new willow grub patterns (the O-Ring and the D-Shackle) and yesterday I got out twice to test the O-ring. I went straight to my pickiest fish and got... This afternoon I got to float with former GVFFC guide James Galloway and his younger cousin who is only just starting out in fly fishing. Cuz has had a great introduction with fish on attractors in the hills yesterday, then Rubicon fish this morning followed by the willow grubber in the pic above.
