The sisters and I couldn’t figure out what to get mom and dad for Christmas this year until I stumbled across http://www.satelliteinternetbroadband.com/. I don’t know why it had taken us so long but we needed to get them internet anyway since their house is way out in the middle of nowhere. Mom usually drives an hour into town to go grocery shopping and things like that and it’s going to be really nice once she gets up and running at home that she’s able to get online and do a lot of her shopping. I think there’s something to be said for helping your parents once they age because they spent so many years helping us…they’ve been wonderful people to me and my sisters and we don’t mind spending a little extra at the holidays to let them know how very special we think they are. Plus, it’s nice not to have to hear mom whining for a whole year about how she didn’t get the kind of gift she really wanted!

Woke Up So Early

I woke up so early this morning because my husband was sending me messages and my cellphone never stopped beeping. I got really happy when i read my husband's first message, I haven't heard from him in 3 days, so I was really glad when I got his messages.

My son also woke up so early because he thought he got to go to school today, I told him to go back to sleep since it is Saturday and he told me he don't want to go back to sleep. Well, I am a little bit sleepy right now but I am just so happy I am chatting with my husband.

I am so glad that my son and I portraits came today. I have been waiting for these pictures for almost two weeks now. My husband has been bugging me about it too. I cannot wait to send him some copies, I know he will be so happy.

I need to find some frames for it and maybe send some to my family and friends. I just felt bad because my husband was not in the pictures. Oh well, I will be posting some of the pictures later. Thanks for the visit folks! ;-)

Tonight was a movie night for my son and I. We watched the Chocolate Factory movie, my son really liked it. I know the movie is old but we got it for free yesterday. When my son and I got home from grocery shopping, he told me to play the movie right away,

My husband and I have a two-year-old son. We limit the amount of TV he watches so there are only a couple of shows that he watches. A friend of mine asked me if I let him watch Yo Gabba Gabba. Since we got Direct TV, I have started to ket him watch it, but I would much rather him watch other shows. Gabba is a show with colorful creatures that dance around and sing songs about topics like safety and taking baths. The songs are really annoying and do not rhyme, but they are very catchy and I often find myself or my son singing or humming them around the house. My husband hates the show and never lets our son watch the show when he is home. He thinks the show is stupid and that it is not educational. I actually think that the show is educational at times. The other day we were watching an episode about animals and the characters were exploring different kinds of animal tracks. Another episode was about safety and taught about the importance of wearing a seatbelt in the car and crossing the street. I guess my son will only get to watch these shows when he’s home with me.

Hate Being Sick

I really hate being sick and seeing my son sick. I just hope and Pray that we will feel better soon because it is really hard being sick especially I got to work tomorrow and my son have to go to school. It is really hard to get sick here in States because we still have to do everything even though we are sick, times like this I wish I was in the Philippines.

I am hoping to feel better tomorrow and so does my son. My husband said we need to take a lot of rest and drink a lot of liquid.

I don't think that it's worth paying full price for things, especially when you're on vacation, if you can get away with it. Well, I do a bit of research before I go on vacation every year to find some really great deals and plan around those if I can. I knew that when we started planning our vacation to New York this summer, to make going to a Broadway play a priority.

I am really happy that I have The Filipino Channel. Since I got my TFC, I have been addicted to soap operas. Abs-Cbn got a new tv series right now called Guns and Roses starring Robin Padilla, Bea Alonzo and Diether Ocampo.

Main cast

Robin Padilla as Abelardo/Abel Marasigan. Abel suffers a traumatic childhood when he witnesses his father being framed up by his fellow police officers, leading to his father’s mental break down. He vows revenge and he becomes a vigilante who fights for the rights of the hopeless.

Bea Alonzo as Regina/Reign Santana. An artist, receives a big blow in her life when her fiancé dies on the day of their wedding after helping out some victims of a hold-up outside the church. From then on she has become a cold, empty shell longing for the love she lost to a violent and unfortunate circumstance.

Diether Ocampo as Marcus Aguilar. He is the policeman in charge of investigating the death of Reign’s fiance’s death. As he gets closer to solving the case, he also could not help but fall for Reign’s beauty and charm.

Since I started working at the School cafeteria, I seldom finish my online jobs. I've wasted so much opportunities and lost so much money but it is okay there's nothing that I can do anymore. I am just so happy that I still got some jobs left and I am eager to do them before I lose them again.

I am so bored right now and I am missing my husband so much. I was taking a nap when my husband woke me up through a phone call. We did not talk that much but I am really glad that we got to talk.

I never knew that childproofing a house was going to be so much work! My toddler gets into anything and everything he can possibly reach, so we had to make sure to latch all the cabinets and childproof all the toilets and faucets. He’s just started crawling so I had to make sure even the outlets were covered so he couldn’t get into those, either! Our house is really old and many of the childproofing items I’ve come across in retail stores aren’t really suited for our place, so I’ve had to take my search online. First I got us set up with mobile internet from www.Clearwireinternet.comso I could search at home. Luckily, I found a lot of great sites offering equipment specially made for old houses and they’ve helped a lot! Even regular baby gates don’t keep my son out of trouble, so we’ve had to special order those as well! I am so glad that it is almost weekend. Tomorrow will be the last day of work for this week. My co-workers and I are planning on going out tomorrow night. I really did not want to go but my husband said for me to go,so my co-workers will not think I am self-centered or a kill joy.

I was really touched when I watched Chris Medina's auditioned in Milwaukee. Chris Medina is from Chicago, Illinois. I am sure most of you who are watching American Idol Season 10 know who and what I am talking about.

Chris Medina's girlfriend Julie met an accident a few months before their wedday day. Right now, she is kind of brain damaged but according to Chris she is getting better everyday.
