So I'm posting this on the minuscule chance that there are people reading it that haven't already read Matt and/or Martin's blogs...
Martin, who is a very good friend of mine, has been working long and hard on a website called Grim Furry Tales (sort of a modern take on Grimm's Faerie Tales). Anyway, lately he has decided to write a series of short stories based on old Faerie tales and is looking for semi-talented and talented artists to illustrate these stories. I say semi-talented because he asked me to illustrate. :)
If anyone is interested, let me know, he is a talented writer and this is well worth any time you invest in the project.

Had I known there was a bet going on, I might have posted a blog sooner....nah.
So today at work was rather exciting for us at the stingray booth. We had to give all the rays freshwater baths ("but they live in the ocean" you say. "Yes", I agree, "so do the parasites that live on them.") Anyway, in response to the stress from that, one of our cownose rays gave birth to a lovely, healthy baby boy. We are all extremely happy about this, as it's the fist one in over a year. They're getting a late start this year.
Also, I'm working on some artwork. I know, I know, miracles never cease.

So I've been told I need to update my blog, and I'm not a big fan of livejournal, so I'm starting this one again.
The main reason I haven't updated it because I work some gods-awful hours. I finally quit my second job, so at least I only have the one now, but I'm still working 6 days a week, until we hire some new people and are fully staffed again (so basically, forever). I will try to update more often, at least once every week or two, and perhaps I'll even get some more artwork done to put up here. Now THAT would be amazing.

I've been slacking with my daily sketch, but in my defense I've been working on the comic, so I don't want to hear a word from you Martin! I dunno who he is, looks like someone I went to highschool with or something. Only...older. I bought a new art book today, okay my mom actually got it for me, I think she felt sorry for me 'cause I've been sick. I also got a fresh new sketch book that just screams out to be drawn in. Muahahaha!!
