The forum member himself has just started using OSX, after getting very fed up with Windows and the need for all the drivers. As all rooters and flashers know, being able to use the Android Debug Bridge is very useful, but of course you’ll need to know how to set it all up first.
To run natively in OSX, you’ll need a USB cable, Android SDK for OSX and of course your Mac!
For the detailed guide, head on over to the forum thread.

You should do what! Lose weight! But how?

It is so difficult to overcome the infamous "weaker" and less to eat. "Eat less" is in itself a joke, especially since has earned the ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch not even have the word "meal". The hunger in the evening is therefore logical and justified. You tell yourself. But the evening meals bring the pounds ...

If, however, so that we know very clearly, you will end up as the barrel and not like this idea. But how can you manage to get lean and maintain the delicate shape permanently?

Dietary instructions were and are a dime a dozen. What is to be here today shows, however, is not new wisdom, but a few valuable tips from a true success story.

Before one decides to do something about his love handles, one should first feel really prepared. One notices this, that you have such a bad-tempered after looking in the mirror is that you simply no ifs and buts would bring about a change in the situation. Be without the determined attitude and a specific goal in mind they will topple over again "fall over" and return to his old pattern.

So you have to motivate themselves and to have the following tips:

Tip 1: Place a small notebook in which you write down all the food you eat during the day. Make eat it himself to the task, lower in calories products with less fat. Avoid especially fatty foods. A one-percent yogurt satisfies the hunger as well as a three percent and your fat cells are not a new food.

Tip 2: Watch out for the drinks on low-calorie products. Drink tap water - ideally 3-4 litres a day. Also able to dampen the hunger and flushes out the toxins from their bodies.

Tip 3: Try evening only better to eat little or nothing. You will see how well you feel the next morning. The stomach feels flatter and you are really hungry for a hearty breakfast.

Tip 4: Once you feel cravings for something sweet, you can not deny it completely. Treat yourself to one or the other rib chocolate when it no longer endure. It is better you can treat yourself and a little something from when you fall after three weeks of extreme mortify her a large chocolate bar and destroyed it completely. Then the bad conscience only quite large and in the end you throw out all the good intentions and falls back into old ways.

Tip 5: Do not forget to eat in spite of reduced calorie diet balanced. Balanced means that the particular diet with vitamin-rich fruits, vegetables, dairy products and other fiber-rich foods to enrich, not to take "dead" calories in the form of ham and cheese rolls themselves.

Tip 6: Try two to three times a week driving to sports. First, distracted from eating sport and if you made it something sporty, one is then not so hungry.
If you are a lazy guy, so it is advisable to enroll in a fitness center. Even if you are there three times a week for 1 hour "just" sit on the exercise bike and pedal, that is already an effective calorie-burning.

Tip 7: Write down these training sessions as well in your notebook! You will see that motivates a lot easier and makes you proud after each training session. And as I said, if it is only a three-quarter hour or hour of the exercise bike is: it will work!
Tip 8: So do not be tempted to push beyond sports, it is advisable to note in your diary the training days to fix before. E.g. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. As one can already set in the morning away from the fact that you go to train in the evening for 1 hour.
Tip 9: It is best if you give your gym bag at an early the car and drive directly from work equal to the fitness centre. So it can happen not want you to come home and win by reading short newspaper to realise that today you no longer want to do more for your body ... What excuses can be found quickly, with which one tries to calm his own conscience. Finally, there is still the lawn mowed or admitted to the floor ...

The lawn and the floor can wait! Do something for yourself! In a few weeks you will receive the reward for your discipline!

Tip 10: According to experts, should be removed within three weeks of not more than 1.5 pounds. For faster weight loss has otherwise your skin does not over-extended the opportunity to form slowly returned.
It is constantly expanding and growing to infinite levels. As more and more users and businesses seek to garner a strong web presence, the buying and selling of domain names has never been hotter. Yahoo.com happens to be one of the largest domain name registrars in the world, and one of the reasons is because they offer great customer service and low prices on their domain names; not to mention ease of use.

1. Search for a domain name. See the resources link below to shop for domain names on Yahoo.com. Just type in the domain name that you are looking to buy, and click on the “Search” button.

2. Click the “Sign-up” button. Once you have found a domain name that is available, click on the “Sign-up” button.

3. Log in to your Yahoo account to purchase the domain name. The site will direct you to a login page so you can log into your account to make the domain name purchase. Follow the directions to log into your account. If you do not have a Yahoo account, you will need to create one.

4. Fill out the fields and tender payment. Yahoo will require that you fill out your billing information as well as provide payment online. Fill out all of the fields and click “Purchase”. After your transaction is successful, it will take you to a domain control page where you can set up your domain.

Get this right and the rest will follow.

You’ve seen the job, love the sound of it, and even visited the school. So far, it ticks all the boxes. Now you have to convince the school of your dreams that you are the right candidate for the job. But before you start brushing up on your interview skills you need to get your CV right.

Forget fancy fonts, elaborate layouts, and online CV templates that require sophisticated software. The most important thing you should remember when writing your CV is that it should be clear and simple with a great structure.

Here are some tips from our panel of experts:

Keep it brief
Aim for no more than a two or three-page CV; long rambling CVs don’t get read. Try to be concise by summarising key points.

Organise your personal information
Make sure you start with your name at the top of your CV, not curriculum vitae in bold! Employers already know what the document is, but need to know to whom it belongs. Next make sure that you follow this on with your address, home, work and mobile numbers, email and fax, if applicable, so that employers can find this information easily and quickly.

Professional profile
This is possibly the most important part of your CV. This is your chance to elaborate on key skills gained during studies and employment and to relate this to any job specification,. Take time to write this section well and make sure it flows seamlessly, but avoid clichés at all costs. It should provide concise information on key skills gained through employment. For example:

Key skill
Effective behaviour management:
By using a range of techniques including agreed ground rules, praise and reward and merit systems, I have maintained good classroom management.

Career summary
For most people who have been teaching for a number of years, this can amount to a lot of information. It is best to use bullet points to break it up. Focus on specific teaching responsibilities and achievements in each role. When writing about your achievements, don’t forget to use power verbs as these are likely to have more impact and they can make a tedious list of responsibilities sound like a list of achievements. Power verbs such as managed, achieved, maximised, strengthened, led, are easily applied to various aspects of the teaching profession, for example, I managed incidents of challenging behaviour in the classroom or I achieved 100% improvement in …..But don’t overdo it otherwise they will lose their impact.

Continuing professional development
All good teachers show commitment to continuing professional development and employers definitely want to see evidence of this. So, ensure that you provide evidence of further personal or professional training and Inset days.

Out of school interests
Employers don’t really want to know about your obsession with astrology or how much you love Manchester United. They would be curious, though, if you had a relevant interest such as a passion for green issues, or an interest in sport as these can be utilised in school. So think about whether it is worth mentioning your interests.

Use clear simple fonts
Recruiters often deal with lots of applications and they need to be able to see key information clearly and easily to decide who is going to get over that first hurdle of securing an interview. So if your font is set at BodDemItasup with double strikethrough effects but recruiters cannot see your key skills clearly, your beautifully presented CV will be unceremoniously binned. So keep presentation clean and simple. If you are submitting a CV online, then use a readable font that is easy-on-the-eye such as sans serif, or Arial. Comic Sans is alright for the classroom, but definitely won’t impress employers. Use borders, by all means, but nothing too fancy.

Final check
It goes without saying that any CV should be checked for errors in spelling, punctuation and other possible errors. So make sure you do a final check before you submit it.

1. Talk to friends, family members and co-workers, or your state's Bar Association for referrals.
2. Talk to local real estate brokers for referrals.
3. Call a local realtors association for referrals.
4. Consult the yellow pages under Attorney: Real Estate.
5. Prepare a list of questions pertaining to your situation. Most lawyers will answer simple questions over the phone for free.
6. Identify a number of possible attorneys and call each one.
7. Ask how much each lawyer charges per hour, and request an estimate of the time required to complete the tasks you require - looking over contracts, handling disclosures, and helping with the closing.
8. Choose an attorney.
Though people have been trying many different methods over the years to relieve the pain and make themselves feel more relaxed and their pain eased, there are still people who haven’t been able to get any comfort from their problem. The acupressure therapy is a brilliant tool for helping to ease people who suffer from all kinds of aches and pains, including feet, backs, hips, arthritis and many more.

As we already know, Acupressure points are very powerful tools we can use to affect our body. So what we are going to do is working with pressure points on the body.

Android is one of the most promising mobile platforms currently available on the market. More than 100 new Android smartphones are expected in the coming year. Here's a list of the Top 10 Android Smartphones. One of the best features of the Android OS is the availability of third party applications.

There are two ways to install third party applications on your Android based phones:

* The first way is by installing applications through the online Android Market, which we have already covered.

* The second way is to manually install APK applications developed using the Android SDK on your Android phone.

APK applications are basically Android package applications.

Through the Android Market
To install APK applications on your Android phone do the following:

1. Copy the APK file you want to install to your phone's memory card and insert the card into your Android phone.
2. Go to Android Market and search for the Apps Installer application.
3. Open it and click on the Install button.
4. After it is installed, just open it. It will show you all the APK files stored directly in the root directory of your memory card.
5. Just click on the application you want to install and it will be installed.

Using the Android SDK
There is one more method that can be used, you can install APK files into your phone using the Android SDK. Download the Android SDK.

First of all, install the Android SDK on your computer. You will also need to install the Android USB drivers to connect the SDK to your phone via USB. You can download it from here - http://dl.google.com/android/android_usb_windows.zip .

To install applications from other sources, you also need go to Settings -> Application Settings and enable Unknown Sources. Also go to Settings -> SD Card and Phone Storage -> Disable Use for USB Storage. You can enable it again later.

Next, just open Command Prompt and type:
adb install path/to/file.apk

The following steps help setting the IP Address in Windows using "
netsh
" tool. This procedure works in Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7.

1. Run Windows Command Prompt (
cmd
) as Administrator.

2. Type
netsh interface ipv4 show interfaces
on Command Prompt

It shows Network Interfaces on Windows machine. We are looking for the Network Interface Name here. I am going to use LAN interface, named as "Local Area Connection".

3. To assign IP Address type the following command on Command Prompt.

netsh interface ipv4 set address name="Local Area Connection" source=static address=192.168.1.11 mask=255.255.255.0 gateway=192.168.1.1

The syntax

netsh interface ipv4 set address name="<ID>" source=static address=<IPaddress> mask=<SubnetMask> gateway=<DefaultGateway>

Where:
ID = Name of the Network Interface
IPaddress = Static IP address that we are setting
SubnetMask = Subnet mask for the IP address
DefaultGateway = IP Address of the default gateway

4. Now let's set the DNS Server using following commands

netsh interface ipv4 add dnsserver name="Local Area Connection" address=192.168.0.25 index=1
netsh interface ipv4 add dnsserver name="Local Area Connection" address=192.168.0.26 index=2

The syntax

netsh interface ipv4 add dnsserver name="<ID>" address=<DNSIP> index=1

Where:
ID = Name of the Network Interface
DNSIP = IP address of the DNS server

To confirm, let's do an "
ipconfig /all
" on Command Prompt;

If you want to set IP through DHCP Server, type the following command on Command Prompt;

netsh interface ipv4 set address name="Local Area Connection" source=dhcp

And, the Syntax is
netsh interface ipv4 set address name="<ID>" source=dhcp

But you can still install windows XP from USB drive. This becomes very useful if your CD/DVD ROM is not working properly.

Things you’ll need
1. USB pendrive/flashdrive, 1GB or larger
2. Windows XP installation disc

3. Download and unzip “flash-drive-prep.zip” file.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/l75a1wwsh1w80u8/flash-drive-prep.zip

Note: Your BIOS should support usb boot, some older computers may not support USB boot.

Preparing the flash drive

1. Navigate to the “USB_prep8” folder and open “usb_prep8.cmd” as Administrator. Now Press any key to continue on ‘Windows Command Prompt’ and a “PeToUSB” window will open.

2. Make sure your flash drive is selected, and click start to format your flash drive. When the format is complete, click OK, but do not close the “PeToUSB” window or the Windows Command Prompt.
3. Open a new “Windows Command Prompt” as Administrator.
4. Navigate to “Bootsect” folder and type “bootsect.exe /nt52 g:” if “g” is the letter assigned to your flash drive. If it’s E, then change the letter to e. If it’s Z, make it z. Get it?

5. When this is done, you should see a message letting you know that the bootcode was updated, and you can close this Windows Command Prompt (but not the other Windows Command Prompt).
6. Close the “PeToUSb” Window now, but make sure not to close the remaining Windows Command Prompt yet.
7. You should now see a list of 8 options in the console. Select “2” and pick a random drive letter (but not one that’s already on your PC, since this will be a virtual drive used for copying your files).

8. Select 3 and enter the drive letter for your USB flash drive.
9. Select 4 and follow the rest of the on-screen directions and you should be all set.

The process should take about 15-20 minutes. When it’s done, you should have a bootable USB stick that you can use to install Windows XP the same way you would if you had a CD/DVD drive.

Once your USB drive is ready, go to your bios and set USB to first position in boot order. Now plug the USB and restart.

You have to re-install GRUB which will allow you to boot both Windows and Linux.
Reinstalling GRUB legacy was very easy but now with GRUB2 you have to do little more.

Follow the steps below, you need to know where your '/' (root) partition is.

Boot your computer from Ubuntu Live CD.
Choose 'Try Ubuntu Live CD'
Once the desktop loads, Open Terminal from Applications menu -> Accessories
Type:
sudo fdisk -l

From here you can figure out your root partition.

Now if your root partition is /dev/sda1 follow the following commands below:

sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt
sudo mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev
sudo mount --bind /proc /mnt/proc

Now chroot to /mnt:

sudo chroot /mnt

Now install grub:

grub-install /dev/sda

Now update the grub:

update-grub2

Now you will see the GRUB and can boot between Linux and Windows. If you don't see the Windows option in GRUB menu, open the Linux that is present in GRUB and run the last command of this tutorial.
Earlier that week I saw a picture of and iphone with a homemade macro lens on it, so I was said to myself- If someone could do that to there Iphone and still hold it right, why cant I do that with my Nexus One? So I did.
It was a lot of trial and error, but eventually I got it, and took amazing pictures, beyond what I ever thought was possible with a phone.
To think our Nexus One's can take almost professional quality photos! I think you will be just as amazed with these pictures as I am .

Please note: These pictures were not edited in any way, just resized for your viewing pleasure!

I know what your thinking! "Hey how do I make one of those snazzy lenses for my super phone?" Well there are many different ways I am guessing, but I will tell you my technique!

Materials:
-Super Glue
-Thick Gauge Wire
-More super glue
-Scotch/Electrical tape
-Disposable camera lens
-Pliers

If you dont have any of these materials, your looking at about $25-$35 USD.

Procedure:
1. Jack the camera lens from a cheapy disposable camera (anyway works, just make sure you dont dink around with the lens).
2. Wrap wire around the lens
3. Super glue it to the wire so it stays
4. Let it dry
5. Bend the wire so the lens fits directly in front of the camera sensor
6. Make it stay on your phone
7. Wrap electrical/scotch tape around the wire to avoid damage to your beloved Nexus One.
8. Take it for a test.

Remember- a lot of trial and error, so be patient. Also, these are very brief instructions- so be creative.

I am not responsible for any damage done to your phone or Camera, or anything.

Here is how mine looks:

However, muscles can, bones and joints can, and we also have blood vessels, and they can hurt, too. Additionally, it all is interrelated, for example, spasm in the neck muscles due to long work on computer can lead to changing blood circulation in the head, changing blood pressure.

So the technique we are going to use is not to "cure" - it is to "normalize". It does not work with the headache directly, as it is not a pain killer. It works with muscles, reducing spasms. It works with blood circulation, normalizing it to some degree. And it works with body energy channels, to make sure the change lasts.

As you know, Acupressure point are very powerful tools we can use to affect our body. So what we are going to do is working with pressure points on the head.

Baihui
The "Baihui" facilitates the flow of blood of the brain.

- How to look for the tsubo (pressure point)?
The "Baihui" is located in the top of the head, at which the extension from a nose cross the extension top of an ear on either side.
- How to stimulate the tsubo?
Place both middle fingers on the point (For women, place the right thumb under the left thumb), and press and rub it strongly. [Easy method] Place a golf all on the point, and roll it.

Fengchi
These points are effective in improving blood circulation of the head and eyes.

- How to look for the tsubo?
These points are located in a dent outside the nape, in the points where the hair has its roots.
- How to stimulate the tsubo?
With both hands, firmly grasp your head. Put both thumbs on each points, and press and rub. Keep on pressing until you feel a little pain.

Tianzhu
These points are effective in improveing the blood circulation of the head.

- How to look for the tsubo?
These points are located at one thumb's distance from the hollow of th nape.
- How to stimulate the tsubo?
With both hands, firmly grasp your head. Put both thumbs on each points, and press and rub. Keep on pressing untill you feel little pain.

Taiyang
The tsubo facilitates the flow of blood of the eyes.

- How to look for the tsubo?
The tsubo is found in the middle of the temple.
- How to stimulate the tsubo?
With both hands, grasp your head. put both thumbs on each points, and press and rub. Keep on pressing until you feel a little pain.

We are going to cover that crazy, amazing, thing: the rock n roll tour, or the metal tour, or the punk tour, or the whatever kind of tour. Going on tour is one of the most awesome things in the world, if you are lucky enough to experience this fun time, even if it’s in a gritty van. It’s the chance to live the rock n roll dream, a different town, city, venue, crowd, every night. It’s parties and late nights, good drugs and alcohol, music, fans, fame, fortune, an escape from the normal ‘9-5’. It’s an excuse to get a little wild. And that’s why we love it. That glittering, dreamy thing…

But it isn’t all private jets and five star hotel rooms every night, Almost Famous-style…well maybe sometimes it is… the truth is a lot of times, no matter how much fun you’re having, tour can be a hard slog, which is why I’ve enlisted not only my own resources and experiences from touring myself, but also the help of a few people who ought to know a thing or two about a thing or two to come up with some practical, helpful little pieces of advice:

Top tips for tour survival:

Be prepared for anything.

Expect the level of gay jokes to go skyhigh within the first day of tour. And multiply by ten each day thereafter.

Remember that having to be inside a moving vehicle for hours on end does not always mix well with last night’s jagerbombs and tequila shots.

Grab sleep when you can, you never know when you might need it.

Cops like to pull over vehicles, they especially like to pull over vehicles full of suspicious looking characters, such as musicians. Do not give them any reason to pull you over, make sure all your registration, licence and vehicle maintenance is in order because once they decide to pull you over for a broken tail light or speeding, you can bet they’re going to want to see what kinds of fun illegal substances, weapons, and other cool stuff that you may or may not have on board, and once they have a reason to get in there and search, you’re pretty much screwed if you do, and even if you don’t it’s a lot of hassle to go through that you just don’t need, so it’s best to avoid that situation from happening, in the first place.

Bring lots of snacks, or be prepared to live off truck stops, convenience stores, and fast food joints, unless that is, you are lucky enough to get catering, but even then, be prepared that you might have little to no food choices that taste good or are good for your body, so bring some snacks with you! I bring larabars in enormous quantities with me everywhere. They have saved my life many a time before.

Try to eat healthy. This may seem a bit of an oxymoron, especially with what was mentioned above, but if the opportunity for some fresh salad greens or fruit presents itself to you, jump on it when you can, remember you are what you eat, literally, and if you want to look (and feel) like a sexy salad on a stage, as opposed to a greasy burger, there you go.

While it may be hard to fit in any kind of regular workout, especially if you’re not staying anywhere near a gym, try to at least get some walking in each day, maybe a pushup or two wouldn’t go amiss either, when half the day you’re sitting down, and your only real movement is at night when on stage or carrying equipment around etc, it’s eventually going to be hard to perform at your optimum level if you’re not feeling fit and ready to go. A good little walk to check out the city you’ve woken up in today is usually a pretty good start to maintaining your fitness level, you don’t have to get crazy, but like I said the odd push up or stretch etc (also very good for a back/neck that is aching from sleeping in a bus or van!) couldn’t hurt.

If you do value your appearance, bring face wipes, skincare products, haircare products (all travelsize of course to save space!), toothbrush and toothpaste etc, the heat, the late nights, the alcohol, airconditioning, smoky bars etc, these all play havoc on your hair and skin driving them out, so even if you’re a tough guy, you’re probably going to want to look after your skin somewhat, and dental hygiene is sexy.

Drink lots of water, lotttts and lottts of water. And by water I don’t mean Red Bull. I mean pure clean drinking water, your body is going to need it from all the shit you’re putting it through. Trust me.

Bring a book, ipod, playstation portable, mini tv/dvd player, colouring book and crayons, or something, whatever will keep you entertained, there are some lonnng drives, flights, and periods of downtime on tour, and you can only fistfight with your bandmates so much before it becomes old hat.

If you had a boyfriend or girlfriend/ wife/husband etc before you left for tour and you still want to have said boyfriend/girlfriend/wife etc when you return, be sure to initiate contact with them often, to let them know you’re thinking about them to curb those jealousy issues. On that note, some relationships are cool with being ‘open’ and involving others in them, but if yours is not like that, and you don’t want your boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/ husband to cheat on you, don’t cheat on them. It’s a pretty simple but often overlooked rule of thumb. Karma can be a bit of a bitch sometimes.

Keep it together, remember drama is amplified by so many bodies living in such close quarters. When the urge to fist fight or lift baseball bats arises, breathe for a minute, assess the situation calmly including assessing how many alcoholic beverages and or other mind-altering substances you may or may not have consumed in the last 24 hours (are you mad because you’re drunk or hungover? Is the other person?), and then decide what course of action to take. If someone’s got to be the better person here, then it might as well be you.

Similar to the tip above: “Create Mutual Respect. It doesn’t matter if this is between you and the sound tech, you and the counter clerk at the convenience store or you and LaVonda the Waitress at the IHOP. Mutual Respect for our fellow human beings is essential. What if LaVonda is a rabid music fan and because you’re nice to her at the IHOP and you leave her with a copy of your cd (and a generous tip) she brings 20 of her friend to a show? Mutual respect pays big dividends. And it costs nothing.” The same goes for between band members and crew.

Tips from a few people who know whats up:
- Don’t shit on the tour bus! (DangerRuss, co-host Poor Kids Radio/Glenn Danzig’s personal security)
- Don’t be a slob – try to be clean (DangerRuss, co-host Poor Kids Radio/Glenn Danzig’s personal security)
- Bring lots of water, babywipes and duct tape (Toxsick Trip – lead singer, Blue Felix)
- Buy a great set of headphones…then you can block out the world, snoring room mates, shitty support bands, and noisy airplanes full of kids.. (Gavin Downie, guitar tech)
- Forget about showering! Just get used to the fact you’re not going to be able to shower for days, sometimes….weeks. (Travis Neal – lead singer, Divine Heresy – currently on tour with Fear Factory)
- Have the absolute time of your life! (Pandie Suicide)

Step 1: Pick your fabric (I went leopard. Rawr.) and decide how big of a tote you want to make.
Step 2: Use fabric scissors so you get the cleanest cut possible.
Step 3: I cut a 12 ¼” by 24 ¼” rectangle. The extra ¼” will be used up when folding the top down to finish the seam later on.

Step 4: Fold in half inside out and sew a ¼” seam. Repeat on opposite side.
Step 5: Pinch the bottom corners into a 2” triangle. This takes some finesse. It took me a long time to be able to do this effortlessly. Just practice!
Step 6: Sew across the top. How far in you sew will determine how the bottom of the bag will look. I usually just eyeball it. The measurement in the photo is about 1 ½”. Repeat on other corner.

Step 7: Use either your fabric scissors, or pinking shears if you have them, and cut the excess fabric from the corner.
Step 8: Turn the bag right side out and poke the corners until the bottom boxes out. This is the bottom’s finished result.
Step 9: Create straps by either using the same fabric as the bag (or even a different fabric if you’re feeling creative) or use a nylon webbing as I did here. You can buy it by the yard at most fabric or craft stores. Measure 2” from the side seam and pin the webbing to the top of the bag, making sure the straps are the same length. Then sew forward and in reverse 2 or 3 times to make sure it’s secure. Repeat for all four straps.

Step 10: Fold down top about ¼” to ½” (putting straps into the bag) and pin. Sew all the way across the top.
Step 11: It should look like this when you pull the straps back out.
Step 12: Double the strap back once more and sew forward and back 2 to 3 times.

Step 13: Close up of step 12.
Step 14: Snip those loose threads and you’re ready to go!

This is so easy and comes out so cute you’re going to be making tons of these things. Try not to get frustrated because you will jam your machine or run out of thread at a really inconvenient time.
Just remember the only thing that separates us from the animals is our ability to accessorize.
By now you have probably noticed that you can have your own cool DIY Geek Keychain by yourself and good thing is you can have it without spending a single penny.

A little over a week ago, I made that RAM Keychain by myself using a useless RAM from my old PC, you also may have one like that or you can use a processor, keys from your old keyboard, or a thin circuit-board(Keyboard, Remote-control, Calculator, Cellphone) etc. Okay now let me tell you how to? it will take only 10 to 25 minutes to make one for yourself.

For example, we are going to use a keyboard circuit-board;

1. Collect Materials
The first step is to get all of your stuff. You will need: a Keyboard Circuit-board, a Razor Blade or a Dremel Tool and Sandpaper.

2. Cut the Board
Next you have to select an area of the board to use. After selecting the area, cut out the board using a razor blade scoring around.

3. Smooth Edges
After cutting out the board, the razor blade left a lot of rough edges, so I used some medium grit sandpaper to smooth them out. You might see little bits of copper traces sticking out; take them off.

4. Drill a Hole
Drill holes in the tops of the boards to attach the keyring (a plus screwdriver also can make a hole.) and next, add the hook of you keyring.

* If you want to use Keys to make a DIY Geek Keychain, you need to select keys and take them out from your old keyboard (I prefer 'Ctrl, Alt, Del' or 'I, Ctrl, U'.) Now make a small hole in the side of each keys and unite them using keychain links.

You are hopefully done! Congratulations! You have just saved some $.
Thanks for you time.

You can this way copy files from or to a remote server, you can even copy files from one remote server to another remote server, without passing through your PC.

Usage

scp [[user@]from-host:]source-file [[user@]to-host:][destination-file]

Description of options

from-host

Is the name or IP of the host where the source file is, this can be omitted if the from-host is the host where you are actually issuing the command

user

Is the user which have the right to access the file and directory that is supposed to be copied in the cas of the from-host and the user who has the rights to write in the to-host

source-file

Is the file or files that are going to be copied to the destination host, it can be a directory but in that case you need to specify the -r option to copy the contents of the directory

destination-file

Is the name that the copied file is going to take in the to-host, if none is given all copied files are going to maintain its names

Options

-p

Preserves the modification and access times, as well as the permissions of the source-file in the destination-file

-q

Do not display the progress bar

-r

Recursive, so it copies the contents of the source-file (directory in this case) recursively

-v

    Displays debugging messages

Examples

scp *.txt user@remote.server.com:/home/user/

This will copy all files with .txt extension to the directory /home/user in the remote.server.com host

scp -r miguel@10.1.2.2:/home/miguel/ miguel@10.1.2.3:/home/miguel/

This is going to recursively copy all files from miguel's Home directory on
10.1.2.2
host to his Home directory in
10.1.2.3
host.

Note
To use this command you need to have open-ssh installed in the hosts.

Update: April 10 - 2009
I have written an script that merge the
use
of
scp
and find, find it here
