I really wish the weather would get cooler. This 80 degree crap sucks ass...just saying.
I know saying this is really bed - but I hate my full time job. I know people I need to just be happy to have a job but I dread going there every.single.day.
The only thing I have loved about this job....dressing up a little. No more jeans and t-shirts...trying to add some style and fun in my wardrobe that's a plus.
I miss my friends. For choices I have made they have all seem to have cut me out of their lives...and I just wanna say IT'S MY LIFE AND YOU SHOULD BE MY FRIEND NO MATTER WHAT CHOICES I MAKE IN MY LIFE!
Ok just needed to get that off my chest.
My kids are growing up way to fast and I really don't like it.
I have not even put out one Halloween decoration - GASP!
But this weekend I am taking my kids to some Halloween events and then to the pumpkin patch which will totally inspire me to do some decorating (I hope).
I miss blogging...but with 2 jobs and 3 kids....it's hard to find time to poop let alone blog.
I love everything Pumpkin - and have been enjoying anything Pumpkin I can get my hands on.

Okey-dokey this is about all the time I have for today...and shit I still got tons I wanna say....oh well guess it will have to wait. But here's a quick peak into my world through pictures, ENJOY!

DRESSING FOR FALL - PART 2

So I have this love for fall, which most people know, and I have totally been all about finding cute fall-ish outfits. My new love is colored denim. I see them in every magazine I pick up and I see them on everyone every where.

So I hit Plato's Closet again and found these super cute purple skinny jeans and this cute owl shirt (I am really diggin' owls right now two). I got the whole outfit for $18.00 - what a deal.

Just the other day I found this super cute dress at Walmart for $12.88! And the best thing about this dress...I can wear my boots with it. Wearing my boots totally makes me feel all fall-ish even thou here in good ol' sunny Florida the temps. are still in the 80's.

I might not blog as often as I would like but I do read blogs - like everyday - I have a must read daily list and I usually feel all empty inside if I don't get to read them or to catch up on what they are up to. I know you are probably thinking I'm some sort of stalker chic and shit maybe I am. But, today I wanted to just share two of my favorite posts from this week with you:

The first is Enjoying the Small Things. If you have not read her blog (but who am I kidding I think almost everyone reads her) then go check her out and this post....That Freaking Pumpkin Patch...cause OMG I swear it was funny and I have so acted like that a time or two in my life.

This girl here - Don't Quote the Raven -is totally my girl crush. She has it all the looks, the cool house, cool husband and super cute boys. But the post she wrote today on being happy was like WOW. Like I wanted to copy it and say I wrote it...I would never do that but it was so good and for me so profound that I wish I had written it.

I am over all the Tweets and Facebook updates about all the cold weather people are having in the north...over it I tell you. Florida sucks, well only this time of year really. I love the fall and I love all it brings...but here in good ol' Florida all it has been bringing is rain. No cooler weather no leaves changing color no nothing and I am about over it.

I have boots that are dying to be worn....I have jackets that need the dust brushed off and to be wore damn it.

Plus all the store have fall/winter clothes that are oh so cute but it's so damn hot here that I can't even imagine buying them yet.

Ok - now that I had my little bitch session - carry on!

.....SHIT I FOUND IN MY CLOSET!

Unlike this post....today I went rummaging through my closet and came up with this little fall-ish number. The pants are a grey twill and the shirt is a very light pink color with a lace cut out flower on the front...so I threw on a brighter pink tank under it to make it POP and then added some pearls and whoa la another fun outfit.

All from shit I found in my closet.

Ya gotta love the title of this post....well at least I do...but then again I swear I'm a woman trapped in a teenagers body.

Another iPhone photo dump because ya I'm a camera whore and take way to many pictures and then I freak out because next thing I know I have like 500 photos in my camera roll and I am hyperventilating because I don't wanna throw any way but yet I have too many. Yes, I have major problems like that and it's ok...or well that's what they tell me.

So looks like our week consisted of food, water and fashion. Not to shabby if you ask me.

DRESSING FALL-ISH

If you know me well enough you would know that I pretty much dress in jeans ALL THE TIME and I am pretty plain as far as fashion goes. I might get dressed up once in awhile or add some funky jewelry to an outfit but other than that I pretty much stick to the same type of dress code. But lately I have been getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things....and I am really liking the new looks I am putting together.

The other day I wore a long striped skirt that I picked up at TJ Maxx and loved it. Here I am in the bathroom at work trying to sneak a quick picture....and then one later in the day....hard at work I tell ya...LOL.

Then this morning I tweeted about wearing my new fall fashion...red (well more of a Merlot colored) jeans with a brown shirt and my giraffe print shoes, which I have owned for a couple years now but had never has anything to wear them with. I also dug out this necklace and it matched the jeans perfect....so there ya go whoa la.

I also wanted to point out that these are cheap outfits that I am putting together. The skirt was on clearance for $15 at TJ Maxx and I had the black tank top and necklace. The red jeans and brown shirt I got from Plato's Closet both for $22.50, I already had the shoes and the necklace so the whole outfit was cheap.

Well to be totally honest with you I did not take the light house picture in the middle. My mother did on Sunday while her and my boys climbed to the top of the light house, and it's an awesome picture so I had to include it.

I just love this girl to death...she is such a poser and loves having her picture taken, so unlike her brothers, and I always laugh because if I grab my camera she's the one who comes running and begs me to take her picture...and she always poses like this.

Besides the obvious of me taking pictures of myself... it's that I love cutting the necks out of my shirts and wearing them kinda off my right shoulder (and it has to be my right shoulder). I have taken to actually going out and buying shirts with the intention of cutting the necks out of them. Last, night while out school shopping with my oldest, I bought that Hollister one just to cut it up.

Jeans and shirts are pretty much my daily uniform. Cutting them up and making them more personal is what I like most about it and of course it gives t-shirts a little more of a sexy feeling as it hangs off your shoulder.

Because it's Thursday and well I have nothing better to do then go through my pictures on my phone and play with this new photo collage app. (really I should be working but you can guess how that's going) I decided to do a picture dump for ya.

I seem to take most of my pictures with my phone...shit who am I kidding I have not even touched my camera in like months. So I guess the correct term here is...I seem to only take pictures with my phone.

ONE YEAR LATER AND I'M TRYING TO BE GRATEFUL...BUT DAMN IT'S HARD!

Tomorrow it will be a year since my baby sister passed away.

This week has been a hard one for me...way harder then I thought it would be. Since Monday (the day the accident actually happened) I have relive every minute in my head. What was I doing right now at this very minute last year, what were the doctors telling us right now, where were we staying, who was with us, and most important what did my sister look like. I have cried river upon river this week...and not just for me but for my mom too.

My mom is flying up to Chicago today to be with my sister's husband for a memorial thing he is doing (which I do not agree with but that's another post) and to see some of my sister's friends. My mom will be going to see the horse that actually threw my sister which I am sure will be trying for her but at the same time I hope that maybe it will bring some closure too.

I will probably wake up extra early and sit for a bit in silence and think...think about her. I want to remember her and to remember all the fun times and hard times we shared as sisters. As the days turn into months and now the months have turned into a year I feel that my memories of her are slipping away and for one day I want them all back....I want to remember her in every way possible and just be grateful that I had her for as long as I did.

I'm sitting under a dryer at the salon and blogging...wow just saying that blows my mind.

My iPhone has totally and sadly become apart of me. Like another appendage or another kid. My phone is on me at all times...ALL TIMES people. If I tell you that I even take it with me into the bathroom I would not be lying. Some times it's scary but I think I've come to accept it and just live with it.

So while I sit here...what seems like forever right now...I am typing away. Not knowing what I am wanting to say or well even if I have something I want to say. But I felt the urge to type and I felt the urge to talk and well since I have no one to talk to right now I'll just sit here and ramble on till the timer goes off or I'm done talking.

Next week is the first anniversary of my sisters death. I try not to think about it but then I feel guilty for not thinking about it. I'm sure I'll cry and be sad but I am too busy right now to stop and really think about it or be sad for any length of time. Just writing that makes me sad and feel like an ass but that's how it is right now.

School starts again next week and I'm in awe...I have one starting Kindergarten and one starting High School. This too blows my mind!

Ok gotta run the timer in the dryer just went off and I'm excited to see the results...

I have been reading blogs for a few years now and one of the things I like reading the most is when some one posts about their favorite finds or things...I have to tell you I am a sucker for new beauty finds or just for trying new things in general.

So today I thought I might share with you a couple things that I love and use pretty much daily.

Yes I still love and use my old stand by Maybeline Great Lashes, you know the one the green and pink tube of mascara. I have used it since high school and it's still my go to mascara. I do love that they changed up the brush on it and I think it makes putting it on my lashes that much better. I also use the Day and Night Rimmel mascara...I always put on two kinds of mascaras because I think on my lashes it just makes them look fuller.

Urban Decay eyeshadow is the bomb....I totally dig it and all their wonderful colors. I always like a little shimmer on my eyelids.

Did you know they make Axe body spray for woman? Well I found this in Walmart and am in love it. I usually spray my self along with my bathroom & bedroom down with this wonderful stuff. Plus it makes me kinda feel like a teenager again....and shit feeling young never hurt anyone.

Thank God It's Friday....

The weather here has been absolutely perfect so I have been taking full advantage of trying to spend as much time as I can outside.... so this past week was all about going to Sunfest, hanging at the beach, drinking beer and chilling with all my favorite peeps in the world.

DAY BY DAY IS HOW IT GOES

I haven't been around the blog world much....because well I just got burnt out on it.

See my life has been in such a total downward spiral that I didn't want to read about everyone and all their fluffy happy lives. You know what I mean? Sometimes it seems, to me anyway, that people use their blogs to brag, or to well maybe not tell the whole truth. Yes I will admit I once did that to but no more...cause it's kinda sick and twisted and it's not life.

Over the past couple months we almost lost our home and because of that Dominic and I have not been in the best place of our relationship. We are always at each others throats and wanna kill each other....well I wanna kill him!

And because of all this term oil I have not felt like blogging or sharing what's really going on. I have been really distant with a lot of people and have just kinda put myself in survival mode. I have just kinda made it my motto to "just get through this day and move onto the next"....day by day that is how I am living right now.

On top of all this I cut back my meds (with the help of the doctor) because I didn't like the way they were making me feel. She had me increase my dosage a couple of times and I think we had gotten it too messed up and I was starting to always feel dizzy and my head felt foggy so we started lowering me back down which I think is working pretty good right now.

So yep this is were I'm at right now and this is my life....no fluff no fun just life. I just felt the need to share today, maybe I will again tomorrow and maybe I won't.

HOUSTON I HAVE A SWIMMER

It's been a while since I have been around here and guess what it's ok. I have been so busy with life that I really don't have a minute to sit down and write. Once the kids are in bed I am just exhausted and drained that all I want to do is sit down and listen to music and unwind. But that doesn't mean I don't have fun and exciting things going on in my life because I do I just can't find the time to even start telling you about them.

I will share one really exciting thing that happened this week...well it's exciting to me and really that's all that matters right? Noel has the most amazing and patient babysitter ever and she has been working hard with her and her swimming and it is sure paying off!

Someone please tell me that there is a weekend approaching?

I feel like I am sinking and fast... this working two jobs, taking care of three kiddos and just life is catching up with me. Most days my head never hits my pillow until well after midnight only to be up early just to do it all over again. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining I'm just tired....and I need a break from life...even if for only a little while.

I need to sit on a beach somewhere drinking a couple of beers and listening to my favorite music....totally uninterrupted!

Ahh now doesn't that sound amazing?

ANOTHER WEEK IN PARADISE

Another week has flown by....faster then a car on a Nascar track....but we keep pushing along and here we are into March already.

March means my baby girl will no longer be a baby. This Friday Noel turns five years old. FIVE years old already...I still can not believe it. This fall she will start kindergarten. OMG did I just say that...wow tears are already building up in my eyes just thinking about it. So I am going to pretend for now that that is a long way off and that I will still have my baby girl for a little bit longer.

This week, like many others, has been so crazy busy as the kids are all into so much and I feel like we are running around all the time just chasing our tails. Luke is really into fishing and has been out every chance he gets...including the other night when he and Dominic stayed out until 4 am fishing....which mommy was not happy about. Kyle is busy in band and getting ready for high school and Noel is just her busy self.

But I will say that when times are crazy like this I like it....I like it because one day I know I will miss it.
