Stephanie came into the studio for some new headshots for her modeling portfolio. Here's a few of her favorites from our session together.

"For the past year I have driven by Wayne's studio not really thinking twice about it until a month ago. I needed headshots to start my fitness/modeling portfolio and how convenient was it that his studio was the first place to pop into my mind and it was less than a 3 minute drive from my house. Hands down, Wayne is by far the most professional photographer I've worked with thus far making me feel comfortable and teaching me the best ways to pose during a shoot. I don't know if any one knows who David J is. Well I'll tell ya, he is a - or was a wedding photographer. He also has been working on software designed to help wedding photographers. I have used the Showit web hosting and developing service since I graduated from Hallmark. It was a tiny bit glitchy when it first came out. But they continually update and refine it. The most recent cool thing they added was a way to post pages from your site to blogger, facebook and twitter. I am trying it out here.

I have recently updated my portrait section of my site...it is probably not perfect and I will work on it a bit more as time goes by.

Oh and they are offering a free version of Showit sites. But they do advertise their service on the free site...I don't know how or what it looks like.

I had a blast photographing the performance of The Wedding Singer for the Capital City Players this past month. From the big hair to the neon colors, it was fabulous! I'm pretty sure the performers were having more fun than the audience in this show. Here is an image I captured during one of the large dance routines.

Oh to be 16 would be sweet. Especially when you're 43! But hey, Its been a great 43 years and some people say I still look 16 so what's the difference (Okay, okay!! Stop laughing now)

Anyway, Rebecca is 16 and she had the celebration to prove it. I meet wonderful people in my field and Rebecca did not disappoint. She is a funny, playful, vibrant girl who has a love for butterflies. Her family and friends all came together to celebrate her coming of age. She's a young woman now and by the looks of it, the next 16 years will be even more exciting and wonderful for her. Then again in the next 16 years I'll be 59.

The Dew Tour 2009 Salt Lake City UT

Its one of those events which is way more fun to shoot then it is to watch. Unless im a dude that's into those things. It was a cool event- im in awe that these athletes do such crazy things at such a young age. Happy to see them moving and not playing video games! But I digress :)
