Google Pagerank Update

Greetings. I’m quite busy this 2 weeks until 12 November with exam papers. With nothing bothered, blogs untouched, I did not even realize that Google has updated Google Pagerank by today.

I woke up in the morning and found that my Mozilla Firefox is displaying my Google Pagerank at different rank. Search Status Firefox plugin that I used showed my blog, Hanep.org turned PR2. I thought it might be a glitch, but soon was stated valid as PR2, dropped from PR3 last time. It should be as nice fair deal since no efforts taken to increase the rank for this blog. Well, that should be not too bad, though.

Live Blog has been Up!

Thought that I would probably have less time to blog here, I should need an alternative that capable for me to have a fast blog. That’s why my live blog developed and actively updated from time to time. My live blog had already get PR1 less than a month of date created.  I created the live blog just for fun, blogging in Bahasa for the first time, with no incentive of getting paid for blogging, but soon after get addicted to live blogging. So, you should probably see me spending more time at my live blog rather than the root one. You should try it!

Internet Projects

I am planning to create my own Wordpress theme after this final exam. The theme will be looking as simple as it can, corporate theme with simple white and blue tone as what I designed for SealServer. The theme will be released for free for sure. If you are interested on having to know more, kindly subscribe with my RSS. See ya soon, okay! It’s time to cash out blog earning.

My spare phone should fullfull all my requirement as I fully use all these. Here are what I need:

• 3G HSDPA for video calling and internet connectivity
• GPS-Ready to use Garmin Mobile XT
• At least 3.2 Megapixel of camera, with Front camera.
• Cheap!

While browsing, another Nokia phone design caught my eyes. It’s Nokia E51.

Too bad while looking at the phone specification, the phone does not fullfill 2 out of three requirements of mine. The phone does not have front camera, which make it only able to make video call using the back phone. Also, Nokia E51 does not have GPS ready making it the same like regular phone out there. So I may need to move into another alternative. Need to move.

Found another Nokia model. It’s Nokia 6220 Classic.

Have you heard about this phone? I know it might not familiar yet not so popular, but you may get shocked with the presented features. The phone has all what you might need except wifi. Well, I don’t think wifi is needed all the time since it has already equipped with 3G HSDPA connection. Other than that, the phone are GPS ready, Symbian OS, 5 megapixels and not to forget, able to make front-facing video call. The phone menu has also improvement like the smooth movement with good response.

TNX has been one introduced before and I should rather not to waste time to explain. However, this program proved me that it can make easy monthly money. This is my 18th payout from TNX program of year 2009.

HTC Magic™ has been actually introduced since 15 June 2009 by Celcom, with the coorporation with HTC company. The 3.2” screen with touch screen capability, 3.2 megapixel camera, QWERTY keyboard on screen, zoom in and out web navigation features, screen rotation is now selling at only RM1,499 with 8GB of microSD card, and this is far cheaper than the selling price expected.

We have seen Maxis with their iPhone 3GS, and now, Celcom are back to follow their rivals with HTC. So, do you thing it is worth for the phone? Further reading to Celcom for more info.

How to recover Google Pagerank penalized site?

When the blog got penalized, I was totally feeling down to monetize the blog since all efforts done are not worthless. In short, zero profit obtained from this blog. Since then, I stopped my link sales activity to whole blog and started to focused more to Google Adsense. The journey went smooth, even with PR0, but I still managed to get $5.00 and above daily, only with this blog. Everything went smooth until today, but seems that I felt something is missing with the blog ; Pagerank.

I can say that Google is the monster of the whole internet. Since that I am no more violate Google TOS, a feeling of confident appear to request a site consideration from Google. I tried. Google Webmaster allows us to manage and optimize our sites in contact with the Google company. So, I login to my Google Webmaster account and get my site verified.

As you can see, there is a function of Site Reconsideration by Google. This is exactly the only way to contact Google and request for reconsideration of your site if the site seems to violate Google term of services. I did this to one of my verified blog with Google Webmaster and wait to if see request worked.

Update : A week later

About a week later I received a message from Google inside the Google Webmaster control panel saying that the website reconsideration has been processed. Seems that the process went exactly well as planned.

This does not the end for me. I’ve check for the Google Pagerank for my blog and what a wonderful day, finally, I got back pagerank for the blog, PR2. If you followed my blogging activity, then you will probably know which blog of mine was the one requested for reconsideration. Well, this seems fair for me, follow Google rule, get back Google Pagerank. Until then.

Have no intention of sending the phone to phone shop for GPS installation, I decided to try on my own. Here are steps what I did and posted here will maybe be my reference in future time. At first, let’s have a look on what we can do with Garmin Mobile XT:

Listed here are what needed to install Garmin Mobile XT to Windows Mobile Phone:

• GPS Navigation Enabled Phone, in my case, I’m using Samsung Omnia.
• A Windows computer with Microsoft ActiveSync installed (Download ActiveSynce if you don’t have one).
• USB Cable to connect phone with the computer
• Garmin Mobile XT application (available to download at Garmin site)

Installing Garmin Mobile XT

First off, there are three (3) main downloads needed to perform the operation. Download all these application.

• Garmin Mobile XT : Download
• Garmin Mobile XT Support Files : Download
• Garmin Mobile XT Free Basemap : Download

Connect your device to the computer using the USB cable. Make sure that you are connected via Microsoft ActiveSync. Download all the above files to your computer, double click the file, install, and choose the installation location to your mobile phone. In my case, I choose to install to “My Storage”, and the installation directory will look like this:

Finish up the installation. Install all three Garmin Mobile XT, Support files and Free basemap one by one with the same procedure. Disconnect your mobile phone from the PC and see your mobile phone for new application installation process.

Adding GPS Map files to your Garmin Mobile XT

Now that we’re all set with the application, it’s time to install GPS map files to your mobile phone. In my case, I use MalsingMaps Malaysia and Singapore map. You need to download the installer files to your PC first, and it is available here:

• MalsingMaps Malaysia and Singapore map (MFM) : Download (at the moment: MFM v1.60)
• MelsingMaps Malaysia and Singapore Topo map (MFM-SRTM) : Download (at the moment:  MFM-SRTM v1.02)

Now that you’ve downloaded both these files. Reconnect your mobile phone back to your PC with USB cable. This time, I will not going to connect my phone via ‘ActiveSync’, but connect via ‘Mass Storage’. On your mobile phone, go ‘Start > Settings > Connection > USB connection’ and choose ‘Mass Storage’. Now connect it to the computer.

Open up the downloaded files on your PC by double clicking the MFM map installer file. Follow the installation guide here. Repeat the installation process to MFM-SRTM topo map.

Now that all set and you are ready to go!

Additional For Testing Purpose : Keygen

Garmin Mobile XT is not free, it comes with 15 days trial. There is a keygen available by searching to Google, Aand here’s how to crack them up. Take note that please support the original one, since updates will becoming more handy.

1. Upon exploring ‘File Explorer’ at your mobile phone, go to the partition you’ve installed Garmin Mobile XT, and you’ll find the folder “2577″. Delete Download the folder.
2. Run you Garmin Mobile XT application, go to ” Tools > Settings > About “.
3. Copy all the information, ID numbers anywhere on a paper.
4. Run IMEI to UnitID Converter v1.0, Use CardID as your IMEI if you are using Windows Mobile phone. Find your IMEI and use it.
5. Generate your UnitID
6. Run Garmin Keygen 1.5 , paste out the UnitID there and click ‘generate’.
7. You will be given a software unlock code. Copy the code number.
8. Run notepad, paste down the code, and save the file as SW.UNL (not SW.UNL.txt)
9. Connect your PC with your mobile phone and copy the SW.UNL file to root directory where you install Garmin. In my case, ‘ “My Storage”/ ‘
10. Restart your Garmin Mobile XT. Done.

To be honest, my blog of Hanep.org does not even generate clicks with adsense, since the niche was too general and blog keywords are saturated with others. So there will be percentage of visitors come to our blog with no incentive of getting what keyword we are holding for.
• Google Ads Placing must be perfect. I found sidebar ads are not working for me, and what potentially generate more clicks is the one what I learned from Joel Comm, the ads between the post title and post contents.
• Google Ads color selection is also one of the huge turning point. Nice catchy color, such Red should attract visitor’s eyes to click on the ads.

Again, what ever money making or job we are venturing in require total focus and willingness to learn. There is almost no fast learning, but Google can be our number one guru.
