This App has a list of standard tweets, which is editable. It's a very quick way to tweet with a single press, stock messages like 'going out with my mates', or 'signing off for the day' which people tend to do quite a lot from what I see.

This idea followed from my earlier thoughts about twitter diet tracking app. It's based on the ever evolving, ever growing usage profile of the twitter service. I would work like any other diet tracking app, except it would post "Hamburger, 1400 Cals" directly to twitter. The different dietary choices should be readily available for you to select with a single click, of course.

I'm not sure it's actually a sensible use case, but any twitter client for iPhone that brings something new to the table is bound to get a lot of publicity.

Lakoff's book was the starting point for my dissertation.

George Lakoff’s 1987 book Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things: What Categories Reveal about the Mind takes this notion of linguistic categories as its starting point. Lakoff, who teaches at the University of California, Berkeley, was interested not only in a description of linguistic categories or even how they came about, but more deeply, in learning what the categories in language tell us about the nature of reason.

That's 57 pages of end user license agreement, and 63 pages of privacy policy. I don't understand why this kind of thing doesn't cause some serious backlash in sales. Perhaps because by the time you see this, you've already bought it. And who reads that stuff anyway? Let alone a 5-year-old! Is it really legally valid if you already know that no one is gong to read it?
