The impression we want presented in branding Traditional Chinese Medicine is more toward the modern with the classic concept of merging china. The use of ornamental china asia adds branding concept in the presentation Sumber Waras

According to Taoist philosophy, ginseng is described as having the nature of a little cold because he grew up on a cold and misty mountains. Because of this he is said to have properties more yin (negative energy).

Ginseng is also thought to have fewer properties Yang (positive energy) as it grows on the slopes of the mountains, which is considered as Yang.The power to heal.

Of the five elements recognized by Chinese medicine, ginseng is considered as an element of the Earth due to the growth habitat in the mountains. Naturally he was a little sweet.

Each element of the five elements of ancient China have organs that correlate to them. Spleen and stomach belong to the Earth element, therefore, the sweet taste of ginseng can build Yang from the spleen and stomach, sending energy throughout the body. According to Chinese medical plants, sweet taste to moisturize, nourish, and increase vital energy.
Ginseng is a plant that most precious of all the plant used since ancient Chinese physicians, at least 5,000 years ago. There are many health benefits derived from it, many leading Western scientists are considering how the plants have such a broad therapeutic range. The answer is relatively simple if we can understand what is known very well by Chinese physicians, the main effects of ginseng in the body is to normalize the function of the pituitary gland.

What makes products become a luxury? If the product has limit of use, will you treasure it more? Recalling the ice and sand sculptures, the works by Andy Goldsworthy etc. temporary arts – they all tightly exist in a short period; and will be destroyed by nature after a certain time. Yet, we all enjoy and treasure that particular artistic moment. A cheap material like paper can also create a luxurious product if we add value into it by good craftsmanship. Inspired by Chinese paper folding, the Dupont Matchbox has a handcrafted diamond pattern. It contains 1 single piece of gold match which invites us to treasure the moment more while the fire lights up. As it can be used once, the burning process becomes even more memorable and treasurable. This is a new interpretation of “LESS IS MORE”.

Mahogany furniture, it's the most representative furniture in china during the age of Ming Dynasty. basically, due to the expensive value of mahogany furniture, people buy it for collection rather than actual use. some of which even for family heirloom.the Chinese royal family comsume such furniture in a very big extensive. because of this, many ancient Chinese craftsmen artists, devote their lifetime to evolve the art of furniture aesthetic. however, when the time comes to the age of Qing Dynasty, the style of the chinesefurniture has changed due to the invasion of the exotic complicated aesthetic, the style at that time can no more represent the chinese traditional low-key and restrained aesthetic, so the mahogany furniture at Ming Dynasty , becomes the most representative product of the family culture.

"Dating back almost 1500 years ago, these two poems are quoted from the original Zen classic, The Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch and distinguish differences in creativity between master (Shen Xiu) and apprentice (Hui Neng). The same classical verse can have vastly different conceptions. The second stanza is better equipped to embody (more suitably embodies) the Zen frame of mind in addition to have been more widely circulated.

As every person’s understanding of Zen is a bit different, I’d like to offer my understanding:
1.) each person’s body is a tree of wisdom, every person’s soul is a mirror of brightness (‘the light’). It is important to carefully take care of this light in order to maintain a state of purity versus one of fallen dust.

2.) perhaps the tree of wisdom does not even exist; perhaps brightness (‘the light’) is not a mirror. Actually, if nothing exists, how then might we have dust? "

"I was invited to do the complete brand design for a new Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic in downtown Lisbon.

The name Sun cames from the Chinese Medicine doctor from the Tang Dinasty, Sun Simiao.
The goal was to create a urban brand with a strong and direct language. The goal was reached using a warm color, a nice illustration of the master Sun and a good typography (philosopher font)."

Book on Preserving the Cultural Subject
Chinese Kueh making was a very traditional and personal process, with the older generation, especially our grandparents, having their own personally modified recipes of these Kuehs written down on paper. In order to retain some of its traditional appeal, a bilingual book concept was adopted. The layout was based on the traditional chinese menu, with the use of Chinese symbols and san-serif fonts to create a contemporary feel.

The different sections of the book were based on the symbolic meaning of colour. Yellow is reserved for royalty. Red is used for happiness and joy. Blue-green is a symbol of vigour and vitality. The colours used also reflected the mood and feel of each Kueh and section.

"Luoye gui gen (落叶归根) is a Chinese expression. It means ‘Fallen leaves returning to it’s roots.’ It refers to drawing inspiration and wisdom from one’s roots. I am of Chinese descent, born and raised overseas, in a sense this expression is descriptive of my life. I integrated the image of airmail envelopes into this work because the strong family connections my family retained in China made airmail a casual appearance in my life. I also featured plum blossoms. My Chinese name means a beautiful plum blossom, however in Canada there are no plum blossoms. My first time observing the flowers in China was a special moment for me."

The World of Chinese Magazine is an English publication based in Beijing, China that introduces Western audiences to Chinese culture and Chinese language. Taking a modern theme for each issue, the magazine uncovers how contemporary issues affect Chinese society and culture. At the end of 2010, we worked to revitalize the look of The World of Chinese, redesigning the company’s visual identity, as well as the look and feel of the magazine to be more attractive to its target audience.

The World of Chinese Magazine had been around for several years, but was not selling the number of copies they had hoped to. The magazine‘s main problem was that its design was not in line with its marketing strategy. It needed to be redesigned to meet the desires of a predominantly male, Western audience between the ages of 22-25 who were interested in learning more about China and Chinese culture. We sought to design a magazine that maintained an intellectual tone, while also being fresh and sexy enough for a younger, design concious audience.
