Tell me... are Black women too dark for Black men? It appears as though many of them don't care for dark skin women and that's cool...billions of other men on the planet. All you need is ONE man (or woman but we're str8 thus the male pronoun) to make you happy. The HAPPY DARK GIRL takes a page out of the BM dating handbook... like BM do, she dates outside the race and as a matter of fact may find more appreciation there.

If you can stomach it- listen, I mean really listen to the lyrics of current hip hop. If you're like me you may wish to handle it as toxic research. If you cannot see that for the most part, hip hop hates dark girls - then I have a white robe for you to wear.

Less than 24 hours ago I was possessed by a spirit and lead to created a documentary about the positive stories of dark skin women, instead of all the gloom and doom presented by male based media.

Since then we've created a blog, Facebook, gmail account, written a synopsis of the film and currently are editing the teaser trailer for our IndieAGoGo fundraising campaign.

No matter what this film is getting made...either in our self-supported kinda-funky Public Cable Access Style (16 years of Dee Dee TV), or a more refined film, created with the generosity of donors.

At any rate, time to stop the flow of nonsense!

Yes, dark girls are happy! We are loved, appreciated, worshipped. We are mothers, wives, sisters. We are beautiful exactly the way we are. We love our hair our skin and our facial features.

"Come to think of it, the portrayal of dark girls in a gloom and doom state is a way to solidify our position at the bottom of society. It is not out of concern or highlighting our struggle, it is a subliminal way of enforcing the White supremacists order."

They allowed her to show a moustache? And the makeup is a shame. You're telling me that producer Bill Duke couldn't find one fly dark girl with a Sam Fine face?

As a filmmaker myself, the general tone of Dark Girls makes me salty... all that crying about how bigoted some Black folks are. We know this already...hip hop=KKK.

I had been on a tangent about the ticket prices of the movie Dark Girls. 27 bucks for cheap seats! I think its typical for the Black community and Black male producers in general to economically take advantage of Black Women. There, I said it.

Thus, almost on the spot I came up with the idea for HAPPY DARK GIRLS a documentary film featuring POSITIVE AND UPLIFTING stories about HAPPY DARK GIRLS and the PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM.

You like? During this journey we'll be playing with a variety of photos. Thank you MISS DIANA ROSS for being FLY.

BACK TO THE REAL... BW "be getting ripped off"...from Churches to Fashion shows to Nightclubs everywhere we go somebody wants too much of our hard earned money and I'd be damned to pay the producers of DARK GIRLS 27 dollars for cheap seats for a (funded!)indie movie ...unless they served free nibbles and sips or it was a benefit screening for a reputable charity-if so, I stand corrected and apologize for what I believe is typical Black Community price-gouging.

I will not speak on DARK GIRLS again unless I'm being interviewed otherwise I wish the male producer$ of DARK GIRLS good luck and I thank those men for inspiring me to make a POSITIVE FILM ABOUT DARK LADIES.
