1. Keyword in Title Tag:

Title tag is a webpage’s second most important part of content (besides the content of the page) and therefore sends a strong on-page SEO signal.

According to Moz data, title tags that starts with a keyword tend to perform better than title tags with the keyword towards the end of the tag.

3. Keyword in Description Tag:

6. Number of Pages:

"DOMAIN FACTORS"

1. Domain Age :-

Matt cutts states that “The difference between a domain that’s six months old versus one year old is really not that big at all.”
In other words, they consider the domain age but its not very important.

2. Keywords appears in Top level Domain :-

Doesn’t give the boost that it used to, but having your keyword in the domain still acts as a relevancy signal. After all, they still bold keywords that appear in a domain name.

3. Keyword as first word in Domain :-

A domain that starts with their target keyword has an edge over sites that either don’t have the keyword in their domain or have the keyword in the middle or end of their domain.

4. Domain Registration Length :-

A Google states that “Valuable (legitimate) domains are often paid for several years in advance, while doorway (illegitimate) domains rarely are used for more than a year. Therefore, the date when a domain expires in the future can be used as a factor in predicting the legitimacy of a domain”

5. Keyword in sub-domain Name :-

Moz’s 2011 panel agreed that a keyword appearing in the sub-domain can boost rankings.

6. Domain History :-

A site with volatile ownership (via whois) or several drops may tell Google to “reset” the site’s history, negating links pointing to the domain.

7. Exact Match Domain :-

EMD may still give you an edge…if it’s a quality site. But if the EMD happens to be a low-quality site, it’s vulnerable to the EMD update.
Matt cutts states that "Small upcoming Google algorithm change will reduce low quality 'Exact match' domains in search results."

8. Public vs Private Whois :-

Private Whois information may be a sign of “something to hide”.
Matt cutts is quoted as stating in 2006 : “When I checked the whois on them, they all had “whois privacy protection service” on them. That’s relatively unusual. Having whois privacy turned on isn’t automatically bad, but once you get several of these factors all together, you’re often talking about a very different type of webmaster than the fellow who just has a single site or so.”

9. Penalized Whois Owner :-

If Google identifies a particular person as a spammer it makes sense that they would scrutinize other sites owned by that person.

10. Country TLD Extension :-

Having a Country Code Top Level Domain (.aus, .in, .uk, .us) helps the site rank for that particular country…but limits the site’s ability to rank globally.

Sometime Google add less useful posts or pages like disclaimer and privacy policy as site link. In this case you can use this feature of webmaster tool to configure your site links. You can’t add links to be included into your site links from here but you can always block unwanted links.

WhatsApp is updating its messaging app so that every text message and voice call will be encrypted for the company’s one billion users.

Yes, Whatsapp has finally implemented full end-to-end encryption, as promised a year ago.

This means, from now every message, image or voice call you made will be secured by end-to-end encryption so that only you and the person you're communicating with can read the content of the message, and nobody in between, not even WhatsApp.

In other words, this also means that WhatsApp would not be able to comply with any court order that demands access to the content of any conversation happens over its service.

Starting today, you will see a notification on your WhatsApp conversation screen as your messenger becomes end-to-end encrypted, as shown in the screenshot.

This is because your messages are secured with a lock, and only the recipient and you have the special key needed to unlock and read them, Read the terms what Whatsapp says.

What is "robots.txt"?

For those who don’t know what is robots.txt, it is a text file which instructs search engine robots to crawl a page or not. Any CMS (content management system) based sites are having admin module online and that should not be crawled by Search Engines, using robots.txt you can block that part to not get it crawl.

About /robots.txt

Web site owners use the /robots.txt file to give instructions about their site to web robots; this is called The Robots Exclusion Protocol.It works like this: a robot wants to visits a Web site URL, say http://www.example.com/welcome.html. Before it does so, it firsts checks for http://www.example.com/robots.txt, and finds:

User-agent: *

Disallow: /

The "User-agent: *" means this section applies to all robots. The "Disallow: /" tells the robot that it should not visit any pages on the site.

There are two important considerations when using /robots.txt:

robots can ignore your /robots.txt. Especially malware robots that scan the web for security vulnerabilities, and email address harvesters used by spammers will pay no attention.
The /robots.txt file is a publicly available file. Anyone can see what sections of your server you don't want robots to use.

So don't try to use /robots.txt to hide information.

How to create a /robots.txt file

Where to put it - In the top-level directory of your web server.
When a robot looks for the "/robots.txt" file for URL, it strips the path component from the URL (everything from the first single slash), and puts "/robots.txt" in its place.
For example, for "http://www.example.com/shop/index.html, it will remove the "/shop/index.html", and replace it with "/robots.txt", and will end up with "http://www.example.com/robots.txt".
So, as a web site owner you need to put it in the right place on your web server for that resulting URL to work. Usually that is the same place where you put your web site's main "index.html" welcome page. Where exactly that is, and how to put the file there, depends on your web server software.
Remember to use all lower case for the filename: "robots.txt", not "Robots.TXT.

What to put in it

The "/robots.txt" file is a text file, with one or more records. Usually contains a single record looking like this:

User-agent: *

Disallow: /cgi-bin/

Disallow: /tmp/

Disallow: /~joe/

In this example, three directories are excluded.

Note that you need a separate "Disallow" line for every URL prefix you want to exclude -- you cannot say "Disallow: /cgi-bin/ /tmp/" on a single line.

Also, you may not have blank lines in a record, as they are used to delimit multiple records.

Note also that globbing and regular expression are not supported in either the User-agent or Disallow lines. The '*' in the User-agent field is a special value meaning "any robot". Specifically, you cannot have lines like "User-agent: *bot*", "Disallow: /tmp/*" or "Disallow: *.gif".

What you want to exclude depends on your server. Everything not explicitly disallowed is considered fair game to retrieve. Here follow some examples:

To exclude all robots from the entire server

This could be especially useful for promoting an event or special offer.

IFTTT can be used to notify you each time a specific user of posts a tweet. Notifications can be sent to your phone, email, Evernote or Google calendar. So, if you’re following a key industry influencer, IFTTT gives you the power to react quickly to their tweets.

#6 – Weather updates

This recipe is particularly useful with the changeable weather we have been having recently in England. Planning weather updates means that you can be better prepared. Simply set up ‘this’ to be the weather and ‘that’ to be the way in which you want to receive the information such as email or text.

#7 – BBC news in pictures

Another fun idea is to have the BBC ‘news in pictures’ emailed to you each day. Simply set up a recipe with ‘this’ as feed- new feed item and then set ‘that’ to be an email straight to your inbox each morning!
