<p>In the previous <a href="https://arnas.web.id/pcb-cnc-milling/">post</a>, i was made PCB using CNC milling, the result is satisfying, but the problem is the bit is often replaced. So i upgrade my CNC to add laser cutting. The laser use for mark the pcb for etching later, and CNC use for drilling and cutting. The result is so satisfying.</p>

<p>Analog gamepad ketika sering dipakai lama-kelamaan rusak. Untuk itu harus diganti. Cara menggantinya pun cukup mudah.</p>

<ol><li>Buka semua baut penutup gamepad. Lepas tutup gamepad</li><li>Dengan menggunakan solder attractor, buang semua timah yang menempel di kaki analog. Pastikan bersih dari timah yang menempel.</li></ol>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/20210811_165540-1024x576.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-55"/></figure>

<p>3. Pasang part pengganti analog nya. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/20210811_170303-1024x576.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-56"/></figure>

<p>4. Solder kembali. Ketika menyolder, tekan komponen analognya agar benar-benar menempel ke PCB nya. Ini penting agar analog rata dengan yang satunya dan tidak menimbulkan masalah knob analog bergesekan dengan body karena komponen analognya terangkat.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/20210811_171541-1024x576.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-57"/></figure>

<p>5. Pasang kembali semua part kebalikan dari memasangnya</p>

<p>Selamat mencoba!</p>

<p>This is my experiment with DAC. First i am using external DAC. I am using PCF8591 I2C using STM32F103 and arduino framework. The result is terrible. It just got 10Hz with 100 resolutions. Unfortunately, i don&#8217;t have SPI DAC so i can&#8217;t test how fast it. Then i am trying to use internal DAC built in: STM32F103RET6 with stm32cube and same 100 <meta charset="utf-8">resolutions. It&#8217;s reach 6KHz. Not bad.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/20210807_161320-1024x576.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-83"/></figure>

<p>Next time i&#8217;ll try to use DMA. It&#8217;s should be faster.</p>

<p>I love to trying and experiment new technology. Even i&#8217;ve stlink and jlink debugger, i like to try blackmagic probe. There are blackmagic probe on some store but it&#8217;s expensive. Fortunately using bluepill STM32F103 we can us it for BlackMagic probe. Simply follow this instruction for convert the bluepill to blackmagic probe:</p>

<p><a href="https://github.com/koendv/blackmagic-bluepill" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://github.com/koendv/blackmagic-bluepill</a></p>

<p>For easy to use, i make PCB and 3D print base. The result is:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1080" height="607" src="https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-74" srcset="https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467.jpg 1080w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-300x169.jpg 300w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-768x432.jpg 768w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-100x56.jpg 100w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-150x84.jpg 150w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-200x112.jpg 200w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-450x253.jpg 450w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-600x337.jpg 600w, https://arnas.web.id/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/DSC08317-e1629092432467-900x506.jpg 900w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure>

<p>The benefit for using BMP is it&#8217;s has UART feature. So you can attach UART target to BMP. It&#8217;s save USB port. Of course you can use USB UART even you don&#8217;t use the debugger. It&#8217;s 2 in 1. On your device manager (or dev on *nix), it show 2 port (BMP port and UART port).</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve old LaserJet Printer: HP M1132 MFP. It&#8217;s B&amp;W and has scanner on it. I&#8217;m happy to use it since it easy to use, cheap cartridge and less maintenance. But since i&#8217;m my MacOS to Mojave, the driver stopped working. I still want to use this printer since it still in good condition. So i upgrade it to wireless printer. Using raspberry pi 3, i install it with raspbian and CUPS. The installation was pretty straight easy. And i make enclosure using Fusion360 and print it using PETG filament. Ideally using black colour to make match with the colour printer body.</p>

<p>Then i make printer mount to make it simpler. </p>

<p>Finally i can print using any OS (Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS) without any driver installation. It&#8217;s done automatically by print server. Enjoy life easier.</p>
