Hiroshima Dome

This building has been kept the same since the bombing of Hiroshima in World War II. This are is just about the epicenter where the atomic bomb exploded, about 100 feet above. Imagine looking up when it impacted. It’s amazing really, just standing in front of it. It’s part of the entire Peace Park in Hiroshima. I’d recommend visiting it if you ever get around to going to southern Japan.

Not quite Mt Rainier

My sister just came to visit and we took a mini-trip to Mt. Rainier. It was pretty cloudy so we couldn’t see the mountain, but on the way to Paradise, I captured this one. Beautiful snow up there!

Hudson River clouds

While on the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, I saw these clouds and because my mind is always in the clouds I had to take a picture. Just something about the pattern that fascinated me.

Orlando clouds

During our honeymoon in Orlando, Florida at Disney. It was extremely breathtaking. However we won’t be going back to Orlando anytime soon.

Wind blowing through trees

I’m such a fanatic about the TV series Twin Peaks. When I was visiting Snoqualmie Falls and the Salish Lodge (the waterfalls and Great Northern Hotel in Twin Peaks), I had to take some pictures of some trees. I know.

Jersey side – Statue of Liberty

If you didn’t know already, you can get to the Statue of Liberty from the Jersey side or the New York side. When we went, we went on the Jersey side. This was the station we waited to get on the ferry.

Statue of Liberty and Jesus

This picture was taken when we visited my parents when they lived in New Jersey. We were supposed to meet up with some folks, but you wouldn’t believe the amount of people there. The Jesus pose was done just at the last minute by Meesh. This is a classic shot.
