I too was considering the BBG. However I read several reviews online where there was nothing but trouble. Consistently, people were extremely dissatisfied enough with the company as to call it a scam and warn others not to purchase this appliance. Most folks consistently have bad experiences with rude customer service agents, extremely poor shipping execution and the ever classic [we used it once and it just quit working].

Look into this product before proceeding with a purchase. If it helps, here is a link to several reviews:

Yoshi, Not disagreeing with you, but think that eventually you’ll hit the same problem with any of the large wireless carriers. They, like other large companies, just don’t give a rat’s ass about the consumers after we’ve payed for their product. Oh, and if you want to leave? Fine, go, like they care. They have others that’ll pay and make up your miniscule fees. It’s times like this I wish I was in a large metro area 24 x 7 that had good, free wireless. I’d get an unlocked Android phone and use Skype or Google Voice with a free SMS app. It’s difficult to stick it to the man when you don’t have viable alternatives.

I think you’re over-reacting. Stuff happens. As long as they rectify the situation, you start getting texts again and they haven’t overcharged you an arm and a leg and refuse to refund it, all you’re out is a couple days of texts. That’s what happens when they hire graduates of the McDonald’s School of Business.

Give ‘em one more chance and if they do it again – nuke em.

From what I have seen, it is an excellent piece of equipment.
Canadians have to be very careful with the ordering. My bill came to to about CA$75.00, and that was OK.
Then there was this surpise; Import Charges CA$39.07.
Big Boss Grill used UPS for shipping instead of the Post Office.
You have to pay the brokarage fee.

If you really want a good indoor grill with all these interchangeable plates, get the George Foreman version. It’s heavier, has heat control and is solid. I’ve had mine for over 3 years and use it constantly. I has the grill plates, waffle plate and griddle. NO donut, sandwich maker or omelet maker, but it’s reliable.
It’s about twice as much as the Big Boss but it’s a real indoor grill, not a cheap P.O.S. guaranteed to fail eventually.

I have the xpess 101 (been thinking about getting the redi set go version) it steams up A LOT, and it still works and I haven’t heard of it ever having that problem. It’s too bad it doesn’t come with more plates, so you can’t make as many things. You can buy more plates for the redi set go, but after the high price and shipping, it doesn’t seem worth it. Hopefully the Big Boss Grill fixes the problem soon, I would really like to have that one instead of the xpress, it’s a lot bigger.

yeah that’s what i love about this show. they really do make fun a lot. I’ll just be sad when it finally ends, i hope they go out in a bang. :D
