Hey there folks! Long time no talk! Boo! I am finally finding the time to share again with you on the blog front! I have been away on vacation and up to my eyeballs in projects!! First Impressions

Howdy folks! Long time no talk! That’s my fault! Mainly due to growth, business growth!! Hey, who’s complaining…not this girl!! However, I have been quite the busy bee…selecting finishes for a fraternity house (yep, frat house), designing a head to toe new kitchen, shopping for accessories for a budget conscience student, designing a builder’s entire home renovation, launching a new business…Lucybell & Company, selling and designing invitations almost every day over at Paper Theory. Wow, I feel tired now. All that nonsense to say, I have been missing over here at blog central…I know it and miss it!! Anywho, while I have been away, I have noticed some BOLD front doors popping up and I am loving it!! I’m talking lime, yellow, orange, teal, etc! What a great way to make a knockout first impression! For one of my client’s, we are painting their front door lime green!! I can’t wait to see it finished!! Until then, check out these bold beauties!!

Hey there friends! Hope you had one great weekend! I worked most of the weekend, as usual. Sorry for being MIA lately, but more on that scoop tomorrow! During one of my, “I have to get out of this house!!” moments this weekend, I stopped by the bookstore to pick myself up a copy of my beloved Domino’s return to the shelves with their newly released “Domino: Quick Fixes”. It has been out since April 17th…I am just now getting on that task. Anywho, I was SO thrilled to see Domino’s name appear among the other designer mags I love so! I didn’t even flinch when I saw the price tag of $10.95. “Whatever, I am getting it…it’s DOMINO!!”, I told myself. As soon as I got home, I got into my Domino zone (my mom used to tell me that when my new issues of Domino came I no longer would carry on a conversation until I finished it…cover to cover). I poured over every page…so excited!! But can I honestly tell you, it was the first time I didn’t REALLY enjoy looking at the mag. It was all old news, old pics, nothing fresh…nothing that screamed “THIS IS THE DOMINO YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH!”. Nope, it did nothing for me! Don’t get me wrong, it will proudly go into place along with my collection of past Domino issues. However, at the end of the day…I still miss THE Domino.

Whoa, what a mouth full of a title! Anywho…so it is Friday, thank goodness! This week has been crazy busy for me (notice the lack of posts)! I got two new projects this week and one of them is hugeO (that’s my language for HUGE). I am hoping to share about all my goings-ons next week! Due to these exciting projects, I went by the fabric showroom this week and stumbled across some new fabrics by Premier Prints. Premier Prints usually has cutesy, yet affordable fabrics. Well, they have stepped up their game and have added a “designer” collection and I LOVES it! AND in keeping with their usual style, they are CHEAP…all around $12.99 a yard. Hip Hip Hooray, it’s Friday friends!! You know what that means…a FAB FIND! This week I bring you a few pendants I am crushing on from World Market! Love me some World Market, don’t you?! Hey there guys and gals! Hope your weekend was grand!! SO…unless you have been living in a hole, you know about the beloved Pinterest and that it is TAKING OVER THE WORLD! Okay a little dramatic, but it really is turning out to be a wonderful resource and the new wave of internet marketing. And as for me, I have fallen in love and pin like crazy! Apparently this insane amount of pins have grabbed the attention of fellow pinners and I have managed to rack up over 105 followers and counting! Hot dog!
