    <description>&lt;p&gt;Is anyone else out there feeling as frustrated as I am by all the "revolutionary" new open courseware and online digital courses being announced that do very little to really tackle the basic assumptions of hierarchical, one-directional, silo'd learning--unconnected intellectually, unconnected to the world and problems around us, unconnected to other learners around the world? &amp;nbsp; Can't we do better?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I think we can!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I &lt;em&gt;know&lt;/em&gt; we can.&lt;/p&gt;
